That was on the plus list, being able to send the kids on a nice honeymoon, Sean and I didn't get that when we got married.

we got a holiday inn in niagra falls. and i think its worked out ok for robin and i.
(so far anyway):rotfl2:

but somehow we always want more for our kids eh?:grouphug:

Too tired here. Couldn't sleep this morning- too much work going though this head, So I went to work at 5 am.. It's amamzing what you can get done when no one is there.

Tell me about it. Before we got Citrix (work from home), I would work at night in the office. After everyone was gone (shortly after 5:00), I could get a lot done.

Good thing my old accounting system had to shut down at 11:00 each night for backup. Made me go home. Now it doesn't have to shut down, but to go to bed now is just a stumble across the hall. This last summer I remember going to bed at 4:00 just to get up at 6:00.

Add us to the list of those that wish we had bought DVC sooner than we did. We bought while on a cruise on the Magic in 2004 and our only regret is that we hadn't bought sooner while Rachel , now 14, was younger, after all we have been to Disney in one form or another every year since she was 18 months old, if only we had bought then. Hindsight is foresight. The dues really don't bother me, they are deducted from our checking account monthly so it doesn't seem like that big of an expense. I really like going on vacation and not have a hotel bill though! I also like having the extra room that DVC provides us along with the kitchen and the washer and dryer right in the "room".
Yeah, I have been on major vacations to Florida (including cruises) in 2001, 2004, 2005, 2006. I am sure we would go at least every other year if we bought into DVC. I like the idea of the deduction of dues monthly from the checking.

The larger room intrigues me. The value rooms are tiny and it stinks going from a queen size bed at home to a full size for a long vacation! When we are at the beach, we have a nice 2 BR apt with a loft, a bath and a half, and a kitchen. It is nice to have that extra space. Most likely we would always shoot for a 1 BR villa unless we had more family join us(2 BR) or just needed to get away (studio).

The thought is growing on me more and more. When we went to WDW in 2005, we had to fly down 2 days earlier due to a major nor'easter. Since we didn't have ressies on property for those two nights, we stayed off property and went to a Westgate presentation to score some free tickets to Universal. The villas are quite nice, the offer was decent, but in the back of my mind I thought, if I do this, I want to do Disney. When I go to Central Florida, I do Disney. It is good that we didn't make that rash purchase! I will just save some cash and probably finance 50% percent if I chose to do this.

LOL we just had to get chinese takeout ourselves! Elaine came home from trick or treating, I looked at her and said, "I'm hungry," she replied, "me too." I said, "lets get chinese!"

It must be the prednisone I am on that is making me so hungry! Today I just couldn't get enough to eat!

Before you get to enjoy it? Or might we see you in WDW in February again?

thats an option. we have see how robins new project at work goes.
they have a "go live" date set for jan 1st. if all goes well, then we can make plans. but we've joked around that we HAVE to stay there before the kids do.
:rotfl2: :lmao:

And down came the gooooooooodddddd fairy, and she said, Little Bunny Foo-Foo, I don't want to see you picking up the field mice and bopping 'em on the head. I gave you three chances, and you didn't stop, so I'll turn you into a goon!

The NY version was a little different. She said, little Bunny Foo-Foo I don't like your attitude, scooping up the field mice and bopping them on the head. I gave you 3 chances, and you didn't BE-HAVE, so I'll turn you into a goon.

And the moral of the story is????? Jeff, Mimi, anyone?????

I just got off the phone with one of my friends who just got off the Wonder yesterday. She said they had to reschedule to CC day because they couldn't dock at CC after 2 tries! Rough seas and wind...
