Nancy, I don't think that's possible. ;)

BTW, sorry that the first food porn installment wasn't very funny ... it takes me a while to get going and sometimes there just isn't anything amusing about a sandwedge. It will get better ... just stick with me, OK? :goodvibes

A blast from the past....DH here.

Hope everyone is doning well?

Just popping in to say hello, and we cannot believe it has been a year allready.

Candyman

Hey! Nice to hear from you again! I didn't even realize that we were at the one year post cruise mark! I'm way too busy now-days. Say hi to the wife and family for us!

Is Tommy still threatening them with the honeymoon kennel?:lmao: Are you guys giving them your BLT points? ;)

I think it's sweet that he offered to pay.

b/t/w who's going to be watching your pooch next year? Will you be weighing him again before you leave? :rotfl2: I'm sorry, I just think that is absolutely hysterical! Most people are worried about their kids throwing a party while there gone but you're weighing the dog to make sure they feed him! :rotfl:

We are still teasing them. Even her parents have joined in. They want to stay at the Wilderness Villa's so we will be making those reservations in Dec. We told them they could stay anywhere. They have a list of their ADR's so we will do those at the same time. Alisha'a parents are going to buy their passes for them. Give them our BLT points :scared1: We have not even told them that we bought more points.:rolleyes1 :

Megan will be home to stay with Jack. The kids are always teasing me that Jack is my favorite child and that they are jealous and going to do him in. :rotfl2: Ryan had the nerve to ask if he could take Jack with him when he gets married. Jack stays with us.

How are the kitties?

Good morning from work. I had a quick few minutes of down time, so I jumped on the DIS to see what's up.

Wow, you are very generous parents! I hope they appreciate you! When are the getting married again?

Here's my little Sasha - don't know where her brother was when I took this:

Howdy All, got in for lunch just as it started raining..........:sad2:

Hazel is on her way home and I just woke Lina up so she can start getting ready for her first day of training at The Disney Store. Lina works 2-6, and I think we will take her to Friendly's after her shift. The Friendly's in the mall is just down the hall from The Disney Store. I know Lina will be ready to get something to eat, and I still have that coupon in my wallet to use!!! :goodvibes

Time to grab some lunch....;)

Wow you guys are really nice, but I guess we would all do the same, except I would want to go too!!!

Wish her luck, does she not drive?

No, Lina doesn't have her driver's license yet. She doesn't feel like she is ready to drive, and if she feels that way, we aren't putting any pressure on her to get her license. Hazel was about 30 years old before she got her license.

Thanks for the suggestion. We'll keep it in mind, although I think Kentucky is further west than our trip would take us. I95 runs pretty close to the coast. I'm with you on the problems with luggage on planes - seems like I did a lot of packing & repacking last month! We can't finalize our plans until next summer anyway.

Nancy

You could stop in NWFL also!!!!

I miss Friendly's. We haven't had one near us since I was in high school. Wow! Where did that come from and am I turning into my mother? HS wasn't that long ago or was it?

We have two of them in our city. The only problem is that service is hit or miss. Sometimes you have decent service, other times it is really bad!

This would be part of the reason I want to read them first. While there was a bit of controversy over Harry Potter and the magic in them, they were very much acceptable in other respects for tweens and teens to read (and us grown-ups too!) They did get darker and a bit more violent as they went on, but the characters and their target audience were getting older, too.

As for Twilight... I'll have to investigate since my daughter isn't even a teen yet. But I do know that once she is, I may not be able to censor everything she reads... my mom couldn't!:rolleyes1

My 13 year old niece is reading them for an individual project at school. She is reading the bbok and then going to do a compare and contract the book and the movie. I asked Megan if she thought they may be a little much for younger teens and she said she would equate them with a tame PG13 movie. She said she thought they were great and in no way trashy. I read the HP books before I would letMegan read them when they first came out. Now she is reading book to find out if they are appropriate for her mother. I was like you ,I read things that I should not have at that age but I turned out ok. Have you read the Outlander series? They are historical/romance that are wonderful. Several of us here at work read them at the same time and anylized each book. We are all CPA and really have no kind of exciting life so we escape through books. :rolleyes1

Hey Joanne,

Couldn't you just kill him for posting that picture!!!!!!

That one was not too bad, he's got one of me by the pool that's realy bad.....you should find it and delete.

It is funny to discuss parts of the book with her that are, shall we say romantic.

Yesterday my DH said he would pay for me to take a short trip to WDW after I finished this semister of school. SOOOO I am booked for 5 days in Dec and I am taking my youngest DGD. I love WDW all dressed out for CHristmas. I found a room at Shades of Green, my choices were pretty slim.
:cheer2:

Theres a few of us there this christmas:thumbsup2
