Well, I got word from Coca-Cola that they have sent out our prize. The thing that worries me is what time window are they going to give me for using the plane tickets. I'm assuming that I'll have at least a year to plan. Which will be great since I need them for our October cruise. DHL says that they anticipate delivery on Oct 27th.

Good luck Steve. It would be great if you can use it for the BOB.

WB trans repo news.....we've got our sideways cabin:woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

We had Dante last year. He was great!
Yeah we thought he was good too. Every meal, he would meet us at the door and take the kids by the hand and lead them to our table. I am hoping we see him on the cruise next year. He was a really good guy. I made sure I tipped him well, and mentioned him on the comment card by name.

Just read your trippie Cass:thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

Thanks for reading Karen :goodvibes

Thanks. That's pretty much a 20 year collection of stuff.

So, Cass, I was reading your trip report and you left me hanging after the Kobe burger (which looked FABULOUS!). Something about going from a high high to a low low real fast fast. So what happened? I'm bitin' my nails here!

LOL, nothing exciting, trust me! Let's just say that the burger didn't agree with me :scared:

Cass, I have to start reading your TR!!!!!!
Work has been a bear lately and I haven't had time for too much fun stuff. :(

It's there whenever you have some time Mel :goodvibes No rush ;)

Hey gang! For those of you who like Dancing With the Stars I just found out that they have already come up with next years cast, here's a pic of one of the couples:

that's too funny. Di

We are going to 99 on Nov. 15th before we go see The Music Man. Lina has been to 99 before, but Hazel and I have never been there. Lina's friend Trish and her mom are going to the play with us, and Trish asked if we could eat at 99 this time. last time we went to a new Chinese Buffet place that had just opened, and the food wasn't all that great.

wow my hometown is getting really big. It also has a 99. I visit it with my mom and dad when I go home.

I've never had any, but Lina said they do sell popcorn and candy at the cart just across from the theatre's entrance. We always took our own snacks in with us.

Good Walt and I love popcorn. Really we dont go to the movies too often. I cant remember the last time. I usually bring the kids to kid movies and we get pop corn, soda and some candy. And boy is it expensive. Di

I know what you mean, for the three of us to go to the movies I drop at least $45.00-$50.00 between the tix and snacks. We do have a tradition and go to the movies on Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day, as long as something good is playing, which there usually is. :goodvibes

Thanks, Mimi

Must have been all that cheerleading!

That cheerleading, the diving, the high jumping, etc.... My mind and heart are younger than my body, and I am jsut hating it.

You probably don't have Dunkin Donuts there either. They are on every corner in New England!

We have Dinkin - got my breakfast this morning, but we prefer Krispy Kreme - I just don't pass one on the way to work.

Well here I set with a cup of coffee wishing I was on CC this morning.
Joanne Yesterday I helped my boys with there next years fire wood. We hand loaded and stacked 4 cord. This 65 year old body is feeling it today:rotfl::rotfl:. As Nancy said this morning you arn't 20 years honey:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:. I guess my mind say's yes and my body is saying no no no.

danandnan

See what I wrote above - I just don't like that the body is older than the mind and heart. I still want to do as I did 20 years ago too!

Yesterday was the file cabinet. Today, my desk!

Amazing! Wonderful!

I knew I would be having a super slow day at work today (with both the owner's AWOL today too:banana: ) so I brought along my cruise file folder to start making some order out of it.

I found my final invoice from our cruise in 05 and 07 and just looked it over. I have a few beverage charges from Pinocchio's. What could that be? Do you think it would be my Sail Away drinks? I did have 6 on the day we left so I'm assuming those were our Fru Fru drinks in the hurricane glasses. But I have a few other charges throughout the week from Pinocchio's. Nothing big, just a few bucks each time.

Any ideas anyone??

Of course, I checked my room charges often and didn't notice anything weird, but now a year later, I'm wondering what that may have been for.

BTW...Final bill in 2005 after OBC = $358.81 (had $175.00 OBC)
Final bill in 2007 after OBC = $144.91 (had $350.00 OBC)

Not too bad eh? :cool1:

We found that sometimes when we ordered a drink at a show the server actually went to Pinocchio's - or at least it was billed that way - to get it. I guess it depends on how busy they are

It is so expensive to go to the movies now - even to the afternoon matinee. We have a tradition of going on Thanksgiving Day as well!

Yeah same here. We always go to matinee's and if it is a movie that I want to see, I will take the afternoon off and go to a matinee. That way I am only out $6.50. My next solitary movie date with myself will be the new James Bond movie, "Quantum of Solace"

On Thanksgiving day, after spending the day helping my Mom with her all of her guests (30+ family members), I go to bed early, since I have to be at work at 230am for all of you crazy Black Friday shoppers. Our store opens at 5am!!

The popcorn is the bag stuff that you can purchase at the parks. The Tiki's had some while we were on the cruise with them. I think Mack enjoyed it. It did have Donald on the package.
