I wasn't even paying attention to it. I so could've had it too. I don't think I got any of the milestones on the BOB did I?

Couldn't tell you on the 1,000's per thread. I think you got one of the overall milestones (5K or 10K over all threads).

The 50,000th post is coming up soon I think. Those milestones are better ones to go for.

Can't believe we'll be at 50,000 posts before we even hit one year of BOB threads. It would be cool to get it before we're one year from the end of the BOB.

I knew I would be having a super slow day at work today (with both the owner's AWOL today too ) so I brought along my cruise file folder to start making some order out of it.

I found my final invoice from our cruise in 05 and 07 and just looked it over. I have a few beverage charges from Pinocchio's. What could that be? Do you think it would be my Sail Away drinks? I did have 6 on the day we left so I'm assuming those were our Fru Fru drinks in the hurricane glasses. But I have a few other charges throughout the week from Pinocchio's. Nothing big, just a few bucks each time.

Any ideas anyone??

Of course, I checked my room charges often and didn't notice anything weird, but now a year later, I'm wondering what that may have been for.

BTW...Final bill in 2005 after OBC = $358.81 (had $175.00 OBC)
Final bill in 2007 after OBC = $144.91 (had $350.00 OBC)

Not too bad eh?

Well, I've got it all done. Here's my pics of Halloween '08

The Graveyard in Daytime. Last year I had the graveyard lit with one channel this year, I have four devoted to it. It's much more dynamic now.

Looks a bit better this way. I stole many of the Gravestone engravings from Disneyland.

Jack Skellington makes his 3rd appearance in my front yard this year.

A close up look at the porch and the Pumpkin Choir. They do all of the singing.

A better look at the Pumpkins. I replace the three in the lower center this year. I carved the last ones and was never happy with them.

A couple of views of the Pirates. The Ships wheel is made from plywood and PVC. The pirates are some very cheap skeletons dressed with thrift store clothing and then I replaced the cruddy skulls with some more realistic ones. The Treasure chest looks great. I have red, blue, yellow and white lights that flicker at random creating a sparkling mass of jewels.

Oh wow Steve...looks like another great display.

Joanne great pictures. Oh by the way that picture of you that you are worried about was deleted a long time ago by me.
Today I plan to do nothing. Yesterday I helped my boys with there next years fire wood. We hand loaded and stacked 4 cord. This 65 year old body is feeling it today. As Nancy said this morning you arn't 20 years honey. I guess my mind say's yes and my body is saying no no no.
Joanne if we don't drive down next year we might have to hitch another ride with you guys. Even better than that you guys come a day or so early we can do the parks together and I need a partner to go down Everest. What do you think about that?

I did just a little at a time. So it wasn't too bad. I did spend an entire day wiring the thing though. I used just 24 channels this year for Halloween. I need to wire 80 channels for Christmas. I'll need to alot more time for that!

My camera takes great outside pictures but I have not mastered the inside or outside at night. They are always blurry.

thanks! I've learned not to use the flash on a digital camera. They tend to look like crime photos when you do. The thing that I need is a good tripod for nighttime work. (I just got back from Wal-Mart and got a cheapie) That'll keep the pictures from being blurred. When I used film, I often used high speed film to keep the blurs from ruining a good shot.

On this date next year we will be flying down to Orlando!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I noticed that we were nearing the one year mark for the cruise. This is where the cruise starts to become real for me. Before now, it was far off and now I need to start planning.

Well, I got word from Coca-Cola that they have sent out our prize. The thing that worries me is what time window are they going to give me for using the plane tickets. I'm assuming that I'll have at least a year to plan. Which will be great since I need them for our October cruise. DHL says that they anticipate delivery on Oct 27th.
