Great to hear some people will be at the radisson prior to the cruise!. We should arrange to have a place to meet at the hotel or something.

There is some kind of fee because it said that you had 40 seconds after answering the phone to push the number one. And even if that were not done, a FEE would still be incurred. I just could not find anywhere what that fee is.

ok so I just set up the character call but somehow I think I messed up I never got to a personalization page. I thought you could put your kids name in the message or are they considering personalizing meaning that he will say you are going on a cruise. Did I do something wrong? Even if he calls without saying their names that will be cool too. Anything technical I always mess up.

Laura, did you get a confirmation email? That may have more instructions on it. I didn't see anywhere to personalize it either. Just the ship and itinerary.

Yea I got the confirmation email it didnt really say much. It had a faq section and that was where I realized I didnt get a personalization page unless I misunderstood it. I was also looking all over for the charge like you had said. Cant find that either. We are going to have Goofy call at about 7p on Friday. We will be at the hotel then and it is around their bedtime, so maybe they will go to sleep for the next morining. Or it could just backfire and they will be sooo excited that they dont want to sleep at all!!

It explains how the calls work. The 4th bullet says "If the 40 second time limit is exceeded, the call will be terminate and the call fee will STILL be incurred.

This leads me to believe that there is a fee charged somewhere, but I can't find where that is.

Yea i cant find the actual cost either, but I'm surprised you dont have to confirm that it was you that had arranged the call so if you did it for someone else that they wouldnt get charged whatever it costs on their bill.

That'a true, too. I am wondering now, how to cancel it. I mean, what if the charge is like $20.00 or some crazy cost? I didn't sign up for that !

I'll have to check my confirmation letter. I haven't seen it yet.

I called DCL, There is NOT a charge Boy, I was getting a little worried there would be a BIG charge too. I'm the cheapest person that ever lived

Thanx for the info! I had tried to call the number on the confirmation and they only let u leave ur email address and then I guess they would get back to you..Silly me didn't think of calling DCL directly.

My DW and I are flying in on Wednesday and taking the ME to Kidani Village for three wonderful (or should I say "MAGICAL") nights prior to our cruise. Saturday we'll be taking the DCL transfer to the port. Is there anyone else out there "in the same boat" as us???
