:yay:
Oh yea I remembered my other question. Are we going to do t-shirts, lanyards or something for this cruise? The lanyards are good cuz you know who are the dis'ers during the entire cruise since most people wear the lanyards. Ok so that should be it..

Last year we had lanyards made. You are right; it was very easy to pick out Dis'ers. We had better decide on that too.

That sounds great, Sherry!!! With a week cruise, that would be perfect. Now, the next step is to figure out what cabins to combine. I think groups that have a similiar age/people per cabin dimension should be good. What do you think?

Good morning Brenda-
We still need to have coffee and meet before our dismeets on the cruise!!
I'm up for any grouping, which doesn't cause a huge headache in planning for ya! Being on the same level would be my vote if possible, and we can get a mix of adult vs. childrens stuff for the FE. I think a lot of us "adults" get more of a kick out of the kids fun stuff as the kids!!! I know I played with the little rubber duckie in the tub that we got on the last FE!!:dance3:

We are making that long flight as well.

Have you booked your flight yet Brenda? We are flying SW out of San Jose with a stop in Phoenix. We should arrive in Orlando around 5:00 ish. I am scared to death of flying, but I love DCL so I just bite the bullet and my grown up son holds my hand:cutie:

Ahoy Mates,

If you go on to DCL web sight and "Log In" and put your reservation number in you can sign up for a Disney Character Phone call to welcome aboard. You can choose from Mickey, Goofy, or Ariel. I'm going to have Goofy call me Friday Morning the day before we leave. Again you do have to Log in and put in your reservation number.

Oh lucky. I had that in my cart the other day and chickened out pulling the trigger. I know by the cruise I'll have one though. I'd love to hear what you think of it once you play around with it a bit

Love, love, LOVE the camera! I totally recommend it! My daughter had a birthday party yesterday and I was finally able to take the pictures I had always envisioned. If you have the chance to get the camera before the cruise to play around with the settings and practice, I would! If I can figure out how to post pictures, I will...that's a BIG if!

I pulled the trigger about an hour before reading your post. Do you have any online tutorials you like that are helping you learn to use the camera?

Paul, this sounds great. I would love to have Goofy or Mickey call my DH right before the cruise. But, I don't know where to put in the reservation number. I login to the site with email address and password, but where to you go from there?

No, we are still checking the prices and watching as the continue to rise. I don't get that since the plane is nowhere near full. We will just keep our fingers crossed and hope they come down over the next couple of weeks.

I don't like to fly either. I just try to stay occupied during the flight and soon it is over. I am hoping to get a direct flight, that way only one departure and landing :thumbsup2.

Hi all, need some help. We are not too sure about the FE thing. We've never done it and don't know squat about it. We have DS, 7 and DD, 4, along with MIL and FIL in a different room. Let me know what you would do if you have a minute please.

Thanks

CONGRATULATIONS!!!! You will love it!
I don't have any online hints...I'm more of a read the book and try things out kind of girl! I want to see if I can figure out the different color settings.

By the way, I love your daughters' name!

What type of info are you looking for?

Brenda,

After you "Log In", click the light blue box in the upper right hand corner that says "planning center", then click "My Reservations". You'll see Mickey Mouse swimming back and forth for a few seconds. You should then see where you put in your reservation number and the birthday of the person who's name the reservation is under All your cruise info should pop up (date of cruise, stateroom no. etc). Scroll down a little and you should see the Mickey Icon to do this. If I can figure out how to do this, anybody should be able to do this.
Let me know how it tiurns out.

Anything you can provide. What do people do with the FE's? Do they put small thinks in them? Do you give everyone one thing per cruise?

Thanks, Paul. I will try that out in a few minutes.

Hi, Adam.

The FEs are like the over-the-door shoe holders and yes, people put small little gift items in them. Right now we are doing a poll as to when the cut-off date should be for those who want to participate in the FE exchange. The next poll will be to see how we want to split up the exchange.

Since we have such a large number of people signed up for this cruise, it may be easier to split the folks up into different groups. Now what yoiu give, how you distribute them and when you do that, is entirely up to up. Some folks give a gift for the cabin; others give gifts to all in the stateroom. It is up to you.

Just if you are assigned a particular cabin, just make sure to give something to whatever cabins you are assigned. But if you want to give to all on the cruise meet, then of course, that is your prerogative.

I hope that helps a bit.
