Jeanne,
wanna hear about the ticket we usually buy for Disney?
It's called the Florida Fun in the Sun-Pass. This year it's 270/$360 for an adult, 217/$290. It grants 30 days of full access to WDW. And when I say full access, I mean FULL access: Unlimited admission to all parks, all waterparks, Disney Quest, Wide World of Sports & Downtown Disney/Pleasure Island. Additonally it's also valid for Kennedy Space Center, the Salvador Dali Museum in St Pet, the Miamy Sea Aquarium, the Everglades Safari Park, and the Ford/Edison Winterhomes.
And the icing on the cake: Included is also a Character Breakfast at the Restaurant of your choice.
As far as I know this pass is only available in Germany, the Netherlands & the UK. But I once read on The Boards, that some people were able to somehow obtain it as Americans through European channels.
We used that pass in 2003. We had to prepay it at our
travel agency and then received a voucher for it, which we traded for the WDW-tickets at a ticket booth in the TTC, where the monorails for EPCOT and MK and the boats to MK leave. They are then valid for 30 consecutive days at all aforementioned attractions.
The same goes for the Character Breakfast: The package contains a voucher for the meal. We did a regular PS, and after the breakfast we simply paid with the voucher and added ~25% tip for the CMs.
And we also had to use the biometrics of course.
No questions that we will buy that pass again next year. But next year we will definitely stay onsite. Our stay offsite in the Downtown Disney-area last year sucked. We will either use the All Star Movies (Buzz Lightyear

) or go to the Pop Century.
BTW, is it correct that as an on-site guest you don't have to pay for parking at the parks?
