Good morning all, we had a sunny day yesterday, but have rain again today from the remnants of Dennis. We needed the rain, but now the grass is starting to grow again and that means cutting it.

With 2 days at Castaway Cay, that means two chances to dunk Eric :rotfl2: I have not had anymore editions to the fly in the sky list for parasailing at Castaway Cay. Mike

I forgot to say congratulations to Allen on snagging #3600.

Dunking Eric? :rotfl2:
After all of you chickened out at Serenety Bay the last time I'm not in the least afraid :teeth:
And next year I will bring my new waterproof digicam to the island, which means I have six days to have the pics printed and hang them all over the ship :cool1: Perhaps I can bring a beamer and make a slideshow in the Walt Disney theater

Hi, I'm told somewhere in the 3600+ entries someone is named Jester who has a "list" that I can add our info. Mostly would like to know that I can find some other boys who will be 10 or thereabouts at the time of the cruise for DS to meet, maybe even swap an email with in advance, so he can do the things he likes, like ping pong, basketball, some movies, some arcade, more basketball, scoops, more basketball (gettin' the picture), and playing the PS2 on the big screen in the Lab in the evenings. And I am sure he will have his hand held computer game device (I dont know how they work or much about them, but at least I don't always use the word "damn" in the description anymore)

So, how do I get our info listed? How about here:

me--Steve--
DW--Amy
DS--Harris, age 10 at cruise
from Atlanta, GA
will be our 5th DCL cruise, first time on any form of Western after 2 Easterns and 2 4 night Wonders. We're on early dining, booked into #7508, I think, first time on starboard side of ship after port side on deck 7 every other cruise.

Welcome Steve, Amy and Harris! Glad we convinced you to post here ;)

Viking is the listmaster, see the link in his signature for additions to the list. On behalf of the Cruisetoberfest IV participants, (which I am not yet but I hope to be by the end of January) Welcome Aboard.

Allen
BTW, will be in your neighborhood the first week of October, Avé. Going to Seaside if there is anything left :cool1:

Welcome Logan1 & family! Eric who posts as Viking is our official list keeper. He may see the info in your post, but to be sure you get added to the list, go the post by Viking immediately before your post. At the bottom you will see a link which will ensure that you are added to our merry group. As for your son, there is a separate link for kids going on our cruise. That thread is Cruistoberkids, and I'm pretty sure that there are some other children very close to your son's age in our group.

Hi to everyone! :wave2: I just booked this cruise and wanted to say hi with a little introduction. I am Robin, and already know Kim, Bette, Kay, Harry, Ashley, Karen, Peter and Jenn (hope I am not missing anyone else) I look forward to meeting all of you, and chatting throughout the year + before the cruise. I have no idea yet who will be joining me this time, hopefully Michelle from the repo cruise will be able to. Or perhaps the "new friend" (who will remain nameless) :rotfl:

I currently live in Connecticut, but will soon be moving to Florida. I am looking forward to being able to drive to the port :moped: I am on deck 7 in a CAT 7, early dining (linked with Kim and Bette, I hope you don't mind but Beci did it for me ;) )

Robin

Welcome Steve & his family and Robin & her family.

Robin - where are you moving to in FL? I live in St. Petersburg. You'll love living in FL.

Gosh, A BIG WELCOME to all our newbies!!!!!!!!
This is going to be the best cruise yet!
Allen, You better book the cruise soon. Please give us a shout when you head to Seaside. We would love to get together. (Dinner, a boat ride, or just a cocktail) Maybe we can meet halfway and have dinner at The Spicy Noodle.
:grouphug: to all.
Avé

Hi Amy! Thanks for the welcome. I am building in Tallahassee and am so very excited! Closing should be soon!

Tracy, thanks for the welcome. I owe you a big apology for never giving you my "repo" review (my bad) I have been consumed in "life" matters since the cruise. Sorry, but please ask away.

Thanks for the welcome Ave!

Robin

Hi Robin

How wonderful. So glad you booked the cruise. You'll be in FL by then and be much closer. See the airfare you saved. :rotfl:

Nameless friend, huh??? u go girl

Welcome aboard to all of our new cruisers and hope that you will enjoy the thread and cruise. Mike

Folks,
I don't know if I will have time tonight to check the thread as I have to prepare our car for the switch: Tomorrow morning we'll pick up the plates for the new car and then drive 125miles northwest to Dormund to trade the old convertible for the new one
I'll have to remove all our personal items from the old one, stash the snowtyres somehow in the car, etc, which will take some time. Fortunately the forescast looks as it will be a perfect day to drive with the down. After picking up the new car we'll visit Anja's Auntie and Uncle who live in that area and then drive home again. As the engine is not yet broken in we'll have to keep it at 80 to 90mph, but with the top down that's OK :earboy2:
For the newbies: Please send your info until tomorrow 1PM EST and I will try my best to do an update tomorrow night.
