Hello to MooCow and Logan! :wave2: Logan, you will be our neighbors on board! We are in rooms 7504 and 7506 and Colton will be 11 and Connor will be 9! I hope the boys will all get along! Connor is the kind of kid that will do ANYTHING as long as he is doing SOMETHING! Colton likes to shoot hoops...although not the best at it....but really likes to play video games, swim, watch tv...sort of the preteen slug! :) We'll have to get them connected! oh, and we have late dinner seating. Also, across the hall from you in 7509 is a family with 2 kids, but I don't know the ages and they don't post mucn. If they are lurking, maybe they'll post!
Eric...have a great day picking up the new car! :moped: It's always so much fun! I am glad the weather will be nice so you can enjoy the convertable part of it! Safe travels!
To all...the ankle is getting better....slllloooowwwwllyy but surely! We went to Sam's Club and Target yesterday and I was SORE last night! Today we will stay home and get chores done, so I can stop and rest when I need to. Thanks again for the thoughts and pixie dust!

Just wanted to pop in and say "welcome" to all the new cruisers. We are growing so rapidly I feel like I can barely keep track of who's whom! ..... I feel we are truly going to take over the entire ship. I wonder about how we'll ever manage the group picture......I'm thinking that unless we do it right after sailaway, we'll never get everyone together again!
I've been working on getting things ready for our trip to WDW next week. It's only 4 days, but I'm compulsive about getting things completely "in order" before we ever leave for any trip. I know this sounds morbid, but in addition to making sure the house is totally clean, I have to make sure all the paperwork is in good order and readily accessible "just in case"....... Please tell me I'm not the only one who gets this way.

Jeanne, you are NOT the only one! I make myself crazy before we leave anywhere! Even just to go to my Mom's for the weekend! The dishes have to be clean and put away, all the laundry too, bathrooms cleaned and the vacuuming done as well. I just like to come home and have everything in it's place. I am dragging in suitcases and dirty clothes and anything else we brought back and I would rather have to deal with JUST that, then to have the house trashed and have to deal with THAT too! Never fear, you are not alone in your obsession! :grouphug:

EDIT to ask....what happen to all our little timer/countdown clocks? All I see are red X's. Do we need to pick a different one? hhmmmmmm........

OK,
our old convertible is 'clean' now. There's just our two Teddybears in it: One in a Ferrari Race Overall (We call him 'Bearichello' after Rubens Barichello, Michael Schumacher's teammate), and Max Wonderbear (The official UNICEF Charity Teddy).
Unfortunately we won't be able to drive the last kilometers in our old car with the top down, as I had to stack two tyres in the trunk (Or do I have to say 'boot' as we have British cruisers with us now ;) ) and there's not enough space left to stow away the retractable hardtop :sad2:
But this has the advantage that we can give it the spurs on the Autobahn for a very last time :teeth: It's topseed is about 5mph higher than the new one's and so we can enjoy 135-140 mph for the last time - Or better: i can enjoy it, Anja doesn't like driving that fast or flying that low :rotfl2:

Moocow35,
I got Logan1_2000's info. Please send your's until 1pm EST tomorrow. This way I can put the two of you in one revision of The List. BTW did you know that your nickname would be very similar in German? It is spelled Muhkuh35 in my lingo and even sounds similar when pronounced in German.

Just popping in.

Hi to all our new cruisers.

Logan - we have something in common which you'll see when you get the list.

Still at work and would like to leave while it's still light. :goodvibes
This might be difficult as it's just gotten really dark like it's going to rain again - finally as we really need it. The flowers I planted on the weekend didn't look good last night at all. A green thumb I do not have.

Fiona

Hello everyone! Just wanted to say hi... I lurk lots, but post little!
Jeane, I have to have the house spotless too! We usually have someone come stay with the dogs, so I can't have her think my house is dirty!
Fiona...I will send flower pixie dust to you! I hope your flowers grow!
Hello Eric and Anja! I don't think you will be able to drive that fast in my truck when you come to visit, I don't even know if it goes that fast!
Hello to all our new people, some of whom we have met! Hope everyone is having a great day... Happy Thursday! JENN...

Eric, I'm sending the info now. My screen name, I know not very Disney, but long story behind it. My DD took German all through high school and even went there as a small group with her German teacher. She was honors and got a scholarship for her German. I'm sure she would love to talk to you, unfortunately she can't take off of college for this.

Ashley

Hi Ashley! Yes, it will be so much fun to see you both again! I'm really not sure at this point the exact time I will pack it all up and make the BIG move. I'll most likely make up my mind when I am down there for the closing.

OH gosh, Robin: I didn't know Amy was in Germany. I lived there years ago and used to speak it pretty good. Forgot a lot but when I hear it, I can understand what people are say. Hum............ guess we didn't talk enough - imagine that :rotfl:

Kay, I think it was more Aimee always leaving the table as soon as she could after dinner! You know the social life is most important! :rotfl:

Robin

Welcome to all the new cruisers.

Jeanne-- I am also compulsive about having everything in place before I leave. Plus I review with everyone where all the important papers are in case something would happen. Enjoy your trip, it can't be any hotter in Florida than what it has been in PA.

We had a great time at Hersheypark on Sunday. Al Jardine (from the Beach Boys) was in the ampitheatre. Now I have heard The Beach Boys with Mike Love and now Al, just need to catch Brian Wilson's act. We always get to see old friends when we go to one of these shows, since many of us buy Season passes to Hersheypark just to do the concerts. The highlight for me this summer will be Paul Revere and the Raiders concert in Aug. That one we will need to be sure to arrive early to get a seat.

For my Amazing Race fans, the Game Show Network started showing every night at 9pm previous seasons of AR. I had only seen from season 5 on, so it has been interesting to watch the changes in the show from the beginning. I have to run around each evening and get everything done so I can be in front of the TV by 9pm.

Off to bed for me.

Nancy

Sorry, I haven't taken the time to read through this whole thread, but is the dry dock going to be before or after this cruise? I hope before with all the cool changes that they are planning :teeth:

Robin

Dry dock is this October for the Magic, next October for Wonder so it will be before! :cool1:

Hi everyone....I hope this works, but I finally have a link to my son's video. This is an exerpt from one of his emails:

Hi Guys,

We have a big favor that we need as many people's help with as possible!

These past few months have been very busy for us, and our first of a series of new videos has just been released for Mae's
"Suspension".

We have a really killer opportunity for us that is happening with Yahoo.
Yahoo is one of the biggest site on the web and Acquastrada/Mae's music video for "Suspension" is currently featured on Yahoo!
Music's "Who's Next" Program. Essentially, each month, 4 artists are featured and fans get to vote on their favorite "new artist."
The winner gets a ton of promotion and sales skyrocket, along with airplay on the major networks. Check it out and take a minute to
vote for Mae:

http://music.yahoo.com/promotions/whosnext

Please send this link to everyone and anyone. Try to get people in your
office to vote for Mae. Get your Moms and Dads on board. Get your doctors, plumbers, lawn boys, and mail man on the team.

Thanks for all your help!

Please check out the video by clicking on Mae (one of the 4 featured bands) when the Yahoo Music page comes up. Unfortunately, you will have to watch a 30 second car commercial before the video plays. It's about a young boy and a home-made airplane and I think it's really great. My son was the cinematographer, so of course I'm biased, but I hope you enjoy it. And if you don't mind, please cast a vote for the video as all these guys are struggling artists.

Nancy: I have to find that channel on our TV and see if we also get AR. I didn't start watching until the middle of the 3rd season, so I also have alot of catching up to do.
Sounds like those concerts are a blast. You and Norm ARE meeting up with all of us in October, right?!? I can tell you how to use the PATH trains if you like, and you won't have to drive anywhere near Manhattan.

Jeanne - the video is really neat and the link works. I think your son did a really good job on it and I voted for Mae.

back to work. Kinda crazy around here today.

Fiona

We got our new wheels :cool1:  :Pinkbounc :cheer2:

Just returned from Northrhine Westfalia, our neighborstate to the northwest, where we picked up the car. Unfortunately we spent a lot of time in traffic jams on the way to Anja's relatives and even more on the way back home. But we drove with the top down the whole time :teeth:
