I agree! A pretty tea party/sundress would be perfect! You could even get her little white gloves and then she would feel like she was playing dress up as well!

Checking in! So excited we can occupy each other's time over the next few months until our trips!!
I just found your PTR. We'll be there at the same time.
I am going to try and catch up tonight.
I just wish my little princess was still young enough (and girlie enough) to enjoy the Princess Tea Party......Nah, you'll see mine digging in the Boneyard for Dinosaur bones!!!![]()
Wow, I've missed quite a few pages here - I didn't know you'd done any updates! I LOVE the custom dress for BBB! I bet she just feels like a fairy princess in that! Isn't Etsy the greatest!
I think it 100% depends on how she'll feel if most of the other girls are wearing princess dresses and she isn't. My daughter would probably want to wear a princess dress if that's what most of the girls are doing. On the other hand I'm pretty good at convincing her that she "wants" to wear a particular outfit for a particular event as long as I have enough time!

I agree with everyone else!! I would do a cute sundress or fancy Easter-like dress for the tea party. I like the idea of white gloves and a little purse so she feels like this is extra special. Maybe a small tiara too!!![]()
I vote for a nice dress, too. She will have other chances to wear a princess dress. Maybe you could fix her hair or get her a small purse to match.

I think if you want to do the nice dress then that's what you should do. I would really play up the fact that this is a 'big girl' tea party not a dress up party and that she'll be dressed like a lady. Perhaps you could even do something similar for yourself such as a scarf made from the same fabric then she'd see that the two of you are doing it together.
Definitely a nice pretty dress!!! A fancy party for "big girls"
Ditto!![]()
Love the dress! She is going to LOVE BBB!! We took Taylor on our last trip (she was also 4) and it was by far her favorite part of the trip. Taking Taylor when she was 4 was great - it was a perfect age. She was old enough to enjoy the trip with us, but young enough to still enjoy the magic of Disney.
Came over from my ptr, got some catching up to do, be back soon![]()
Stephanie, the Princess Tea sounds like so much fun! I just read up about it! I think it would be so special to have pictures taken of the two of you! I like the fancy Easter dress idea, wait a month or two and you could probably find one on clearance too!! What a sweet thing to do together...it has put thoughts in my head about it when Helen gets older...![]()
