1 Child and 10 Adults--A GG to Celebrate DD's 4th Bday :) TR Link is Posted

I agree! A pretty tea party/sundress would be perfect! You could even get her little white gloves and then she would feel like she was playing dress up as well! ;)

I vote for a nice dress, too. She will have other chances to wear a princess dress. Maybe you could fix her hair or get her a small purse to match.

I agree with everyone else!! I would do a cute sundress or fancy Easter-like dress for the tea party. I like the idea of white gloves and a little purse so she feels like this is extra special. Maybe a small tiara too!!:lovestruc

Wow, I've missed quite a few pages here - I didn't know you'd done any updates! I LOVE the custom dress for BBB! I bet she just feels like a fairy princess in that! Isn't Etsy the greatest!

I just wish my little princess was still young enough (and girlie enough) to enjoy the Princess Tea Party......Nah, you'll see mine digging in the Boneyard for Dinosaur bones!!! :rotfl2:

Checking in! So excited we can occupy each other's time over the next few months until our trips!!

Hi Rebecca-thanks, we are so glad we went with the custom dress. We think it will be really special and cute in the park! :goodvibes I LOVE Etsy--quite addicting just looking through it to get ideas.

I think it 100% depends on how she'll feel if most of the other girls are wearing princess dresses and she isn't. My daughter would probably want to wear a princess dress if that's what most of the girls are doing. On the other hand I'm pretty good at convincing her that she "wants" to wear a particular outfit for a particular event as long as I have enough time!

I think if you want to do the nice dress then that's what you should do. I would really play up the fact that this is a 'big girl' tea party not a dress up party and that she'll be dressed like a lady. Perhaps you could even do something similar for yourself such as a scarf made from the same fabric then she'd see that the two of you are doing it together.

Definitely a nice pretty dress!!! A fancy party for "big girls"

Thanks everyone for your thoughts on the tea party. I have some more things up my sleeve so to speak so i will let you all know about all of that once I am sure. :goodvibes

Love the dress! She is going to LOVE BBB!! We took Taylor on our last trip (she was also 4) and it was by far her favorite part of the trip. Taking Taylor when she was 4 was great - it was a perfect age. She was old enough to enjoy the trip with us, but young enough to still enjoy the magic of Disney.

Thanks Jennie! :goodvibes I think Lilian will love the experience of BBB!! :)

Hi! Just checking in to let you know I'm still here. Work has been busier than usual lately and I haven't had much time to spend on DIS. I'll probably be starting my own PTR soon so I'll definitely let you know when I do. I can make ADRs in less than a month lol :)

Think I've all caught up now phew. We are staying in POR also :thumbsup2 Originally we had booked the POP but we were being offered a good deal with free dining to upgrade to a moderate so we couldn’t say no and POR was booked. We haven’t stayed before but the good reports we have read and pics/videos we saw sold it :thumbsup2 I’m back tracking a bit as I was late in coming over. CRT – loved the character interaction and being in MK early got some great pics of the castle when it was really early and not busy. We had both breakfast and dinner in CRT last visit, food at dinner was much better than breakfast, being in main street really early was a real highlight on our last trip :woohoo: Your planning is wonderful and very organised and your DD is really cute, her wardrobe for your trip is definitely expanding, her dress for BBB is just gorgeous :goodvibes

Stephanie, the Princess Tea sounds like so much fun! I just read up about it! I think it would be so special to have pictures taken of the two of you! I like the fancy Easter dress idea, wait a month or two and you could probably find one on clearance too!! What a sweet thing to do together...it has put thoughts in my head about it when Helen gets older...:goodvibes
