1 Child and 10 Adults--A GG to Celebrate DD's 4th Bday :) TR Link is Posted

I'm getting caught up on all the excitement.
I want to hear more about school! It sounds like so much fun.
I think the custom is adorable too.

Your plans look great! You're going to have a fabulous time.

Amanda

Thanks Amanda!

Yup, I plan on doing a PTR, probably start it sometime this month. I'll let you know when I do!

Yay! Please do let me know or I will watch for it. :)

The updates look great Stephanie, and your Disney School sounds like a lot of fun!! At least you are under the "2 week" mark until you can make your ADR's!! I hope you can get them all!

Thanks Beth! I hope we can get all the ADRs too. At least I am not ten days late making them!! I would much rather be ahead than behind. The one I am most worried about is Mama Melrose's because of F! I have been reading the F! are hard to get now.

:welcome: Beth to my PTR! Thank you--I think the custom is pretty cute too. I am still working on Disney school but since there seems to be enough interest, I will post about it once we get through the first week or so of it. :thumbsup2

Oh, Lillian's dress is absolutely adorable!!! She's going to look like a princess!!

Your plans look great and your idea for Disney school is very cute. I believe we're going to some "lessons" as well. Especially seeing how we'll have all summer while we're waiting to go. That will get them very excited.

Jumped over from my PTR. You are a very organized Disney planner (just like me). I can't wait to post all of my ADR's and such on my PTR. I have to get them all figured out by March 26th. Can't wait to read more! :goodvibes

Thanks Pam! I cannot wait to see her at BBB in her dress! Of course, we still have just over six months left to go!! It is going quickly though.

Thanks! I sure hope DD thinks it is fun and wants to do it. I think she will though. :thumbsup2 What kind of lessons are you thinking of doing?

:welcome: Meghan to my PTR!! I am glad you could come by and read along. I try to be organized!! I am looking forward to reading about your ADRs too. :)

Your ADR wish list looks great! I think you will really love the Perfectly Princess Tea Party - it is a really special experience!

You will have to post pictures of your 180 day celebration. And I am intringued about your Disney School...look forward to hearing more about that!;)

LOVE her dress!! She is so cute! :cutie:

We have Disney Scene It Original and love it. DH refuses to play it with me, though, b/c I always kick his butt. :rotfl:

We have Disney Scene It original, too. Same here, Mommy2LittleVols, DH doesn't like playing me because I always win but when we have friends over and are trying to think of a game, he'll suggest that game so he can be on my team and win. :lmao:

To answer your question about what "lessons" we were going to do. I was thinking of a little lesson for each park. I'm going to have them pick an animal that we will find in AK and a country we will see in Epcot and we're going to do a little research project! Sam is almost 6, so with her being so young, she can print out a lot of pictures and she is beginning to spell and write.
I think for MK we're going to learn about Walt himself! The kids are always asking me questions about Walt, so ... perfect!
Not sure about DHS yet, haven't thought about that one. But I figure seeing how we have all summer and we'll have hot days that we're just hanging out in the AC this will be a very exciting thing to do. And they'll be reading and writing, so it's a win-win!

For Disney Scene It, if you are getting it for the adults, I think that would be fun. Bella is fairly advanced for her age and we tried to play it, and it was too hard for her. It's just too involved. She lost interest quickly. So if you are getting it to play for her, I would wait a couple of years. :goodvibes

Hi Trish--Thank you!! I hope we get the choices. If we don't get something, I have some back ups in mind. I think the tea party is going to be great!!

I will definitely post pictures of 180 day celebration (or thereabouts). We may be traveling so it may have to be delayed. I am still not a 100% sure since it is a business trip for DH down to NC but I would get to see DBF!! :goodvibes Disney School: working on it too. :thumbsup2

I think it would be a lot of fun for the adults--DD may not be able to play but I bet she will recognize some of the scenes. I bet I would kick my DH's butt too. :)

It is funny how that works out Christina but then again, I guess we are the Disney fanatics.

Hi Pam--I hope you are doing a little better!! I want to do something similar with the lessons. I say "school" but Lilian is only 3 :) so we can do Preschool Disney School. :thumbsup2

Yay for learning about Walt! And if you can swing in Roy too that would be great since he is the one who saw through with WDW.

Hi Kayce! I did not think it would work for Lilian--other than she might be able to say who is in the scene or what movie it is (maybe not the correct name depending on what she says :) Like Ariel instead of Little Mermaid).

How is the sewing going?

I am down on campus for my graduate school this weekend--it has been a lot of fun but long five days!! I am so ready to be home--I miss my family!!

So I am wondering if you all would care to give me input on such a big decision--but I think a fun one! As you may recall, we are planning on attending the My Disney Girl's Perfectly Princess Tea Party. So--I am thinking of an outfit for Lilian (not even thought about my own though :rotfl:). Should we:

1) Dress her up like a Princess--though she thinks most of those dresses are itchy--hence the custom we had done. She will be wearing her custom all day the day before so that is not a choice. So I would have to buy another dress if you all think it is necessary.

2)A nice dress would be the second option. I am leaning towards this--I would love to get some nice pictures of the two of us while we are at GF for the tea party--I think that would be really special since we are not dressed up often. With this option, I am considering making the dress, if not I will find a nice dress for her to wear.

Option 2 is my preference. I just wanted to hear what all of you reading think too.

I think it 100% depends on how she'll feel if most of the other girls are wearing princess dresses and she isn't. My daughter would probably want to wear a princess dress if that's what most of the girls are doing. On the other hand I'm pretty good at convincing her that she "wants" to wear a particular outfit for a particular event as long as I have enough time!

Amanda

I think if you want to do the nice dress then that's what you should do. I would really play up the fact that this is a 'big girl' tea party not a dress up party and that she'll be dressed like a lady. Perhaps you could even do something similar for yourself such as a scarf made from the same fabric then she'd see that the two of you are doing it together.

Very cute custom dress. I think for the Tea Party I would go with a nice dress instead of a princess one.
