ok I guess I will have to find some work to do, talking to myself is no fun.

happy Thursday!!

Nice Pirate!!!! Congrats.

I thought someone had said that parking was free if you stayed there, I will have to call and find out.

Congrats to Joanne on the Pirate (I think it is worth 2)!

We love Grills and a Saturday night is a great time to go to watch the Magic sail out. Talk about getting in the mood! We did it before the 2003 Member Cruise and had a blast.

I am looking forward to it already! :thumbsup2

As for parking at Radisson, there is no additional charge, which is good to know.

Carol and I try to make it to the Blue Bayou each time we go. We love it! Yes, it's a bit pricey, but the service has always been good and it's a nice quiet setting. Of course, we usually go for lunch.

It's certainly not a place I would take kids though. I don't think they'd find anything they liked and you'd be paying quite a bit for something they most likely wouldn't appreciate.

I've only been to Blue Bayou twice for lunch. Both times food was just OK and service seemed very rushed.

Beautiful day here in the Pine Tree State. Its about 55 degrees and the snow is melting like crazy. I just got back from a 40 min walk. Nancy got called into sub this afternoon. One of the teachers became ill.
I think by Monday I will be able to start racking the lawn. We are due to get some rain tomorrow so that should help and its drys out by the first of the week.
Joan glad you made it back from you trip. And maybe someday I will get a Pirate. Must be nice to play on the computor and get paid for it. Of course I never did that Joan.
I see you guys are talking about a 7 day in 2009. I hope I can convince Nancy to do on sometime.
Everybody have a great afternoon

Dan it is a beautiful day here in Chicagoland as well. 50 degrees and sunny. I went out for a 1/2 hour walk at lunch. All the snow is gone and Spring is in the air. Yeah!

Joanne congrats on the pirate!

Its a beautiful day here in the Chicago area as Mary has said, and its only supposed to get warmer this weekend! I can't wait...Now we just need to keep it this way! My girlfriend is coming in from Nashville tonight, so we have a little bit of a girls Saturday evening planned! We are going to hit somewhere she wants for dinner, and then possibly a movie or just hang out somewhere! Then Sunday is a shopping day and lunch with another girlfriend from HS! Catching up on old times is always a blast! Have a great weekend!

We fly to Korea tomorrow, and will be at Tokyo Disney the week after next - just in time for their 25th Anniversary celebration!:cool1:

I can't wait to see Tokyo DisneySea, I've heard it's amazing!

Hope everyone has a good 2 weeks.

Wendy

Okay time to catch up:

Joanne- Congrats on the pirate! Arrg:)

Mary: The weather here today was beautiful also. Spring has sprung. The trees have buds on them.

Wendy: Make sure that you post pictures please. I would love to see what those parks look like. Are you doing a trip report?

Dan: Isn't great to see grass? Winter was way too long!

Annette :)

Hello everyone. I am still around, slightly.
3 more weeks of school before I go on VACATION!!

So excited.

As for the poster that asked (about 3 pages ago) where people we will be staying in port Saturday night.

I also ordered Sun Pass Monday night and got it today :) Now we are all set to cruise right on through when we go to FL :)

I don't know if this was posted but the website has a new ship to shore poll.

Another question.

How many of you have done anything at the Vista Spa. Hubby and I will have just celebrated our 9th anniversary and thought we might try a couples massage type thing.

Any info?

Mandy,

I wondered just this morning how things were going with you. I hadn't see you post in a while.

Amanda and I love the Rainforest Room on the ship. I haven't tried a massage but I might this year. I have heard wonderful things about the treatments.

Are you still doing the Minnie?

Annette :)

Mark and I did the couples massage back in '04 and enjoyed it. We have one booked for our cruise in 3 weeks as well. Go for it! :thumbsup2

Mary Nancy and I were thing of going to Vero Beah but we always read all these negative things concerning NO-See-Ums that make us wary. I think you have been there. Is there a good time / bad time to go there?

... Bruce aka Beastlypirate:

Good morning everyone!

Bruce - we've only been in December and yes the no-see-ums were bad then. It is a beautiful resort and I think if you are prepared you'll be ok. We weren't thinking and ended up with our legs all bitten up. :sad2: I'm not sure if there are other times of the year that would be better. Try asking over on the DVC boards. I know there are some over there that visit Vero often and can give you a better idea.

THIF.
Good morning everybody. Well Nanc and I have a busy weekend ahead of us. We are leaving for Salem NH for Yes hockey and our grandson, and were going to meet Nancys College room mate and her husband for lunch.Everyone calls us Nana and Grampa hockey fans.
Our grandson is playing in a tourney in Salem and Lowell Mass . Its the Newengland Middle school championships. They won there division here in Maine so we made the Newengland Tourney. I hope this is it for a while. Althought it has been fun I think we are ready forspring sports.
Mary Nanc and I went to Vero in April of 2005 right after the hurricans had gone thuough that fall. What a mess. We had a great time and we have always said we wanted to go back. When we were there it wasn't warm enough for the on see em's. We think its a great Resort just to relax. No parks just pools and the beach.
Well I better go get ready to leave. Everybody have a great day and weekend.

Yep it is nice!!! It's amazing how much we depend on computers. There is only so much filing!!!

Have a great Friday.

Thanks for the heads up but I was a bit disappointed by the question. I'm really hoping that DVC puts up something new soon. It is still talking about Winter and we all want Spring to be here. :lmao: Plus would it really kill them to tell us the theme. Come on DVC - give us some info!

Bruce, we have been to Vero in March and had no problem with no-seeums.
