Sorry you can blame my pets and Todd for waking me up at 8am. I tried to go back to sleep but couldn't.

But in reality, I know that upgrades are only in the dream world:cloud9:

We have a spa villa booked for my birthday, and if we can get Palo brunch, my reality will be more than enough!:flower3:

hey, anyone one else out there Cove Cafe morning people????? If so, you might see me there!:goodvibes

Nope not a coffee drinker, but I heard they have good snacks in there mayhave to check it out this time.

We are not going to a park on Sat. because we want to get the most out of the parks once we break into the pass for a day. With the meet & dinner plus we'll have to wash & repack for the cruise we've decided to just hang out.

Good we will find you when we get there. A pool day sounds wonderful.

I have the annual pass so I can go to epcot and get you your funnel cake!

I cant believe i missed the pirate. I was on dis and looking for information on DCL transportation. We have never done it and we are using it this time. With the current weather i just thought it would be easier.

Cheryl Congrats on the Pirate.

Here are my questions:
1. What time do they pick up at BCV?
2. When do we have to have our luggage ready to go to the port? I thought i read it somewhere it is the night before like on the ship.
3. Are the buses crowded or is it like ME they just take who is ready to go.
4. What are the chances i will be able to get Palo brunch or Dinner? We currently have Dinner but it is pirate night.
5. Will i have time to enjoy a park before going to the ship or am i just waiting around for a bus?

I know I'm not a newbie to cruising but we always rent a car or drive and being hostage to someone else's time schedule freaks me out.:scared1:

Amanda

Are you there

No I was out mowing. Now it is pool time. Roger went out to fill gas cans. They are already running out of gas in biloxi & mobile. We has so much trouble getting gas after Katrina.Oh well I guess I can just work from home....

Happy Saturday all.

Has anyone ever checked there point usage on DVC. I was calling to add ME for our cousin who is joining us after the cruise and thought i would see how much was left on our contracts. I went into view activity and noticed that we were charged for both SSR and BCV last year when our wait list came thru. I asked them if i was reading this correct and i now have an additional 22 points to use by Feb 1. Now i have to book another trip to WDW i hadn't planned on. The bad part is i can't bank them because they are 2008 points that i borrowed in 2007. Thank goodness we are buying annual passes again.

Stay Safe. Hopefully it will die out before it hits land. I'm sending pixie dust your way.

Does anyone know if the member cruise is completely sold out. When I talked to MS in June they said it wasn't...........just curious!

I think it is. TinyTink was trying to get on for a while and they told her it was sold out. Doesn't mean we might not have a cancellation or two but I think for now it is sold out.

I like Cove Cafe especially in the morning. I usually go and make some tea at the drink station and then head on in to Cove Cafe to pick up some Stollen bread.

I have two !

Congrats on the pirate.

They usually have a nice selection. I love the Stollen bread (the same as you get at Palo Brunch but without the whipped cream).

Here are my questions:
1. What time do they pick up at BCV? I think it is around noon.
2. When do we have to have our luggage ready to go to the port? I thought i read it somewhere it is the night before like on the ship. The only time we did it we had to have it ready in the morning and we left it in the room and they picked it up. That was back in 1999 however.
3. Are the buses crowded or is it like ME they just take who is ready to go. Any time we've done DCL buses they were pretty full.
4. What are the chances i will be able to get Palo brunch or Dinner? We currently have Dinner but it is pirate night. Getting there via bus I would say it would be a very slim chance.
5. Will i have time to enjoy a park before going to the ship or am i just waiting around for a bus? We did Epcot for a bit the morning before we took the bus.

I know I'm not a newbie to cruising but we always rent a car or drive and being hostage to someone else's time schedule freaks me out.:scared1:

See my answers in red above. The late bus is one of the reasons the 2006 group did a party bus.

What's ME?

Magical Express - the free Disney transport from the airport to the resorts.

ME= Magical Express

Okay Cheryl- you need to sleep in, I was on a rool to finally get my first pirate! Guess I gotta pay better attention! ;)

A number of weeks ago, I mentioned that I was going to be saying Mass for anyone who wants to attend Mass before the departure on Sunday. A couple of people indicated interest back then, but a lot more people are posting now, so I thought it might be a good idea to remind people. My question right now is, when should we do this? I originally thought it might be possible after the first meet, but a lot people are planning to go to dinner right after that. Sooo, how early on Sunday morning? I am an early riser. Let me know what those of you who would like to attend think. Also, my sister and I are at BWV, so that needs to be taken into account since that is the likely place to have the Mass. I am flexible, though. If enough people are elsewhere (like BCV), I could be persuaded to travel. Let's work out the details.

Fr. Frank

Thank you for your offer - what generosity and blessing!!

I would like to be on the "list" of people for Mass. I actually canceled my DCL bus reservation and rented a car specifically for Mass (its a math thing - buses and cabs vs car rental). I enjoy both Mary, Queen of the Universe and Corpus Christi (new parish for Celebration), but I agree with a previous poster - celebrating the Eucharist together would be special.

That said, I know some of my priest friends need a break on vacation - and some celebrate in their room anyway. If you are one of the later, could you maybe count me in? I am a daily communicant and miss being away that long....

And as another side note to the rest of the DISers - if you are still in the World the following Sunday - and need a ride to Mass, we have room for 2 in our car rental - let me know! Happy to pick up and drop off!!
