Notice to all participating in the FE game. I need everyone to confirm with me that you still want to play once more before the cruise. Just in case someone had a change of heart at the last minute. I know on my last cruise we had two families do a no show to pick up thier list. If it turns out two families are not participating, I will move our late entries to the main list.

Yeah I have been moved up to the main FE list.... OK help help.... I really wanna do this cause it sounds really fun... What do I do for a FE.... What are the FE game rules? What kinda gifts and how many per room, etc... I missed that whole part, but I wanna get on the ball since I am coming into this sooo late in the game... Any help will be awesome!!!

There aren't really rules for the FE per se. You can bring a gift for everyone in a stateroom or just one for the stateroom. You can do a gift per day or just one for the entire cruise. It is up to you. Last year we did little novelty items (puzzles, necklaces etc). It is whatever you are comfortable with.

I am also an early riser. We would love to participate. The earlier the better since we need to leave by 9 to get to the port hopefully to get Palo's. We are at BCV. BWV is only right accross the lake right? I didn't think dinner was until 5:30 how long is the meet? It is very nice of you to do this.

I noticed that both you and Mary said you would be leaving for the port around 9, which would mean you will get to the port around 10-10:15? I didn't realize we could get there that early. Frank & I are going via Tiffany Town Car and they will pick us up whenever we say, so should I move the time to 9? We would like to try to get Palo brunch too.

On another note, I can attest to the fact that Fr. Frank's vacation Masses are short & sweet, plus no collection! However, he might put someone to work as a reader. Not that I get a vote, but I would prefer Saturday night too. We have a late reservation at Le Cellier (can't wait for the pretzel bread!).

I noticed that both you and Mary said you would be leaving for the port around 9, which would mean you will get to the port around 10-10:15? I didn't realize we could get there that early. Frank & I are going via Tiffany Town Car and they will pick us up whenever we say, so should I move the time to 9? We would like to try to get Palo brunch too.

Yes we always get their early, last year we got #3. It's nice to hang out in the terminal and chat with who ever is sitting around you. This tends to be an older crowd and every one is in such good mood. We didn't know any one last year so this should be even better. But it's up to you I know so people hit a park or a meal first cause you don't have to board until 4. But I like the time on the ship.

My uncle was a priest(in NY) and he was always quick with the family also.

Something else worth mentioning about the port, if your family includes kids, you can do the registration for the kids clubs right there in the terminal. They also bring characters out for photo ops with a large scale model of the ship.

I don't know how it looks for you, it depends on your preferences settings under UserCp. But if you scroll down the end of the Smiley pulldown there's one called 'Show all Smilies' that'll open a box with all of them. If you have a box on the right, just click on 'more' at the bottom.

Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah Tip Of The Day

A great inexpensive souvenir of your trip is a postcard from Castaway Cay. It will even be stamped with a CC postmark. Two things to remember.

1) Bring cash with you onto the island. Unlike everything else on board you can't use your KTTW card to purchase postage here. Bring small bills if possible.

2) Be patient once you get home. The mail moves on "island time" mon so it may take a while to get to you.

We plan to get to the port early since we do want to try and get palo brunch. Plus, I am one of those people who wants vacation to start as early as possible!
I like the time in the port....anticipation, time to meet fellow DISers, etc!
Last time we drove in and got there just before 10am, there were cars lined up at the gate. Does that still happen???
