Are you a GH watcher? I have more pictures of them since I am an ABC watcher.

Not really any more. Back when the whole Luke, Laura and the Ice Princess thing was going on I was home for 3 months with a broken ankle. That was back in the days of no remotes and very few channels so ABC was on from Ryan's Hope all the way through General Hospital.

Crazy weather for the 4th of July. It was beautiful out in the sun at the village parade but tonight watching the fireworks from our backyard I actually had to come in because it was getting too cold out there.

Nice pictures Cheryl. Reminded me of our fireworks cruise after the 2006 Member Cruise.

I had a nice work schedule back in the 80's when my girls were born and I was able to spend time home during weekdays. I also enjoyed the ABC soaps, All My Children, One Life to Live and General Hospital occasionally. I would watch if the girls were napping and sometimes videotaped them once I had a VCR.

Haven't watched them in years now, but sometimes I think I could very easily get back into them, lol. Like visiting with old family again....

I am sure it wouldn't be hard. I DVR two days and watch 6 hours on Saturday mornings inabout 1 1/2 hours befire every one gets up.

Looks to be another beautiful day here in Chicagoland. Slept in after hearing lots of fireworks going until the wee hours. At least we have today and tomorrow to relax before heading back to work.

Not much planned for today. We are going to go to the MArina on base and try kyaking. SO wish us luck, will let you know how it turns out.

Yes, you very well could easily get back into them. I work from home 3 days out of the week most of the time and am a big ABC Soap fan. Anna is even back on GH these days (Robin's pregnant).

Hmmmm, I could DVR the soaps and watch on the weekends, too, LOL!

The DVR is a wonderful invention! I have actually been using it for various shows such as the Bachelorette. Finale is Monday btw.

Perhaps I will start this with AMC and GH. Running thru the commercial breaks cuts down the time spent in front of the tv and watching on the weekend is a great idea!

Vacation coming up this week, so maybe after this trip I will give it a shot. I used to really love watching the soaps around the holidays when they would have the sets decorated beautifully with gorgeous Christmas trees.
