HI Eeyores

Nancy and I did the Glass Bottom Boat last year. It was crowded but fun.
If you are one to get sea sick take something because the way the captain positions the boat at times it might bother some people. Back and forth and up and down. If its a calm day no problem but if there's a wind be prepared. It did bother us but a few got sick.
Just some headsup advice Eeyor.
Mary Love you door signes.
Joan won one yesterday. Came close to blowing it.
Tell Rog I think Francona made some bad decissions. Like letting Veriteck bat and Lugo.
Everybody have a great night

Hi all,

Not much went on here today. Cloudy & rainy. Did some dvr catching up.

We have only done the banana boat on CC. That was a lot of fun. But mostly we just float and relax.

Wow Mary...nice! I'm not that creative either but my sister is. Maybe I can get her to do something. I think she's going to do shirts for the kids too. I showed her the pillow cases that someone from here did in '05 that we had the characters sign and she wants to do something like that for the kids. We are looking for Pirate stuff now for the kids. I'm really getting excited now. I've booked the Glass Bottom Boat tour, registered the kids for the clubs and the nursery and got our annual passes. I've booked our transportation from the resort to the port and back as well as to and from the train. I think that covers everything.

What time and day did you book the boat tour? We are doing that also! Ours is Monday from 1115 - 1245.

Mary -
The door sign is very nice, quite creative. I lack in the creativity dept. :upsidedow

hi everyone, i see most of you had a great weekend. As annette said i went to the cabin. It was a great time. we bobbed in the waves made me think i was at cc except no one would bring me a drink when i wanted one.

Thanks for the advice. Good to know! Glad I booked the baby for the nursery. :)

We are Wed. at 11:15am. It's my sister and nephews first time so I wanted to let them take things slow the first day at cc.

Just a reminder that tomorrow is the 75 day mark so tonight at midnight (Eastern, 11 pm Central, 10 pm Mountain, and 9 pm Pacific) is when first time cruisers can log in and book what is available as far as spa and Palo reservations.

A few reminders:

If you are online before the hour starts you might get an error message when booking that you aren't paid in full or your birthday is wrong. If this happens log out and log back in and your should be fine. Strange glitch on the DCL system.

Also if you miss out on anything remember that DCL does hold back reservations for booking in person on boarding day.

Good luck everyone!

Oh I am glad you said that I forgot all about trying again. I am so glad we are central time.

have a great Monday.

Good morning Joan.I thought the 75 day mark was for 1st time cruisers?
Getting ready for a warm day .Haven't got the Ac's on yet but im sure we will.
If we can go on line we will try it later.
Have a great day

Thanks for the reminder, Mary. I hope some of us first-timers get some of the things we want. I have questions - There is some sort of registration we have to do online in order to save time at port. When can we do that registration? Do we have to do that before we can book anything? Is there something we have to have from Disney before we can do the online registration? I will be looking into all this on the site today, but I figured one of you wise people would know right off the top of your head!

Mimi - you do not have to have the online registration done before you can book. Online registration should be open now. I know it wasn't open before our 90 day window but I believe it is now and I just added it to my list of things to do. Online registration will ask for things like your passport number, emergency contact, phone numbers, where you are staying after the cruise, etc. It will also ask for airline information which you really only need to fill out if you are flying in the day of the cruise. There is also a form to list all your credit information (what card you'll be using during the cruise and who has charging privledges on it).

Then you print these out and you are ready to cruise. It really makes check in at the port so much easier. The good thing for those who have done it before is it remembers much of the info (like passport numbers) so you don't have to put them in again.

It is, but since this seems to be a lot of repeaters I was just going to look and see if they opened anything up.

Have a great day- hope it warms up for you!!!I will be more than happy to send you some heat and humidity.

Mary, You're awesome! And fast!!!! Thanks for letting me know about the online registration and not having to have it done before booking anything. Regarding flight information, if we are flying in the day before the cruise, then we don't need to put that - is that what you are saying? What about if we are flying home the day we disembark? On other lines, if you are flying out that day it affects your place in the order of disembarking.

Thanks again, Mary!

Good morning all. Hope everyone had a great weekend.

Mine was busy. Had to take Annie, my female meeser, to the vet Thursday. She was all lethargic and down. Turns out she was running a fever of 104. (About 101 - 102 in humans  ). She has been at the vet now for 4 days. We have had blood work done twice and xrays. The results for the 2nd blood work come back today. The vet suspects a tick disease. He even went ahead and started the treatment Sat for the tick disease and her fever finally broke. I am hoping to pick her up today. I am so not looking forward to the bill. - but she is worth it.

Thanks to all the well wishers on my Dental Implants Surgery. It all seems to have gone great. Not a lot of pain after the first few days. I haven't had to take anything (not even Advil) in over 24 hours. :)

I promise to get my act together this week for the DIS Games and the pre-cruise meet. It is my second priority after getting my Books caught up for Boy Scouts. My third priority is packing for Holiday World this weekend. Woo Hoo.

Has anyone ever added a person to their cabin this late in the game? If so, what are the costs involved other than the initial fee? Is this even an option?

Thanks!

OK Mary heres an answer to yourDisney Inspiration question...

The first time I took my girls to Disney World was right after 9/11. We had the package booked for about 6mo before 9/11, and I really contimplated cancelling, but then said right now is probably one of the safest times to fly. We went down 9/21 and stayed for 5 nights. Just me,Krystina(age 5 then) and Haylee(age 2 then). On one of the bus rides back to our hotel, the bus was full, there were a few standing, and the driver turned the lights off, and on came the music...This was the first time on a Disney bus that they had played any music while we were there. About 2 songs into the ride, God Bless America came on, we all started singing, and there were tears in everyone's eyes by the time the song ended...It was a great tribute. I will never forget that bus ride.
