Hi everyone.
I am just checking in. I started another thread because somehow I missed this one when I scanned through the thread list. Sorry.
Thankfully tinkerbelle77 told me about this one.

DH and I just booked our cruise this past week. I cannot believe that he did it so spontaneously!!!!!!!! I love that about him, though! We have been on a couple of cruises (HAL), only one other Disney cruise back in 2004. So I am really excited about this one!!!!!!!!!!!
We have two daughters, their ages at cruise time will be 9 and 12.
Now.......I am going to go back and try to read through all I have missed on this thread. I know that will take a while.
I am looking forward to seeing all of you fellow DISers there!!!!!

My girls did receive your DD's email, and they will reply this weekend, we have been so busy, and had the other DD sick in the hospital. Finally I feel like my life is sort of getting back to normal!

Sorry, I didn't take the time to read all the back posts...are the bracelets going to be the rubber bracelets? Are there different sizes for adult and kids? If so, put me down for 2 adults, and 1 child bracelet.

Just let me know when, where, and to whom to send the money, and how much!

I wish September was HERE ALREADY!!

JNorris... Im hoping that the company we use will let us mix and match the sizes... I'll know more on Monday.

I am really excited that it looks like some friends of our will be cruising with us. It is especially exciting because their dd's are best friends with our dd's. So with all 4 girls, it will be like we are childless couples.

After we got separated in a snorkle trip and so many people with us... those green bracelets are GREAT! All I do is raise my right hand and he finds me! Oh... darn

Bareacuda, when will you need a final count by? Most likely we won't be able to actually book the cruise until June or July.

I think we would need a final head count by mid July. That way I could order them and one of two things... I can give you them on the ship or send them to you.
We're on 3 cruises starting the 8th. So I can leave them as "fish mail" for everyone before you board the ship ?

Would you mind telling me about these bracelets that you are all discussing. I think they must be lime green DIS rubber bracelets. Am I correct? Tell me about them. I may just order a few. I am sure DH would not wear one, though.

I thought it might be nice way to locate each other with a very distinct rubber/ silicone bracelets. Plus it's a souvenier of the cruise...probably the cheapest one you'll buy!
Im ordering them from a company on line that came recommended.
The cost will be in the $1.65 range each. The minimum # to order is 100. We could do that as aDis-group. We have a nice size group right now.

Make my number 3. DH said he will not wear it. The girls and I will.
Also, you don't have to order the other family any.

I am so excited!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We are getting closer!!!!!!!!!!!! I have started checking in on Cruise Critic to learn more about the ports since we have never been there before. We have done the Disney 4 day cruise but never the 7 day. These ports will be new for us.

I guess I should have added that youngest DD's 9th birthday is September 8. We told her that we would celebrate her birthday on the cruise. I did tell DCL's rep when I booked the cruise. Do you know if they do anything special? We spent her birthday last year in WDW (with free dining). She got the cards and waiters/waitresses singing to her. Will they do that on the cruise?
