YES! YES! YES! We did two of these (2005 & 2006) and this year we went on a regular cruise. When we got home, DH said he wanted to try to get on the next SSMC because he liked the surprises and said the people are different. I asked him what he meant and he said that everyone on SSMC has something in common and people are very excited to be on the cruise and participate in activities. The wait is definitely worth it! I have been dialing both numbers since 9 am with no luck of getting through. For those of you that have gotten through what number was it on? I wondering because I only have one phone and have been dialing one number and redialing for 5 minutes straight and then switching to the other number and then repeating.

I always use the 407 numbers as I'm in the Orlando area. It took me 3 or 4 minutes to get in the queue, then almost an hour before MS picked up. Then another 20 - 25 minutes for the actual booking.

We are concerned about this exact thing. We chose to do a 7 day this year instead of the MC, but already we realize we are missing out on the commonality of DVC membership and the attitude toward Disney that carries. While there are some owners on our cruise, we realize we will be in a minority - it will be a different experience. For us, it was the ports of call and the length that won out this year, but I can guarantee we'll be on another MC soon.
