Stairs at Epic

I have heard there is a crazy amount of stairs in Epic, at least in Mario world. We will have grandparents with us and now I’ve injured my knee, about a month before our trip:/ Nothing very serious, but stairs are difficult for me at the moment. I am not overly worried as we’re doing a VIP tour and they will know where all the elevators/accessible points are. But will it be a huge disruption to have some of us needing elevators? I’m sure the kids will want to do the stairs. Is it mostly Mario or other lands as well?

There are a lot of stairs in nintendo as it's a two story land. I am going to guess that since you're doing a VIP tour, you probably wouldn't need to worry about that as im sure the guide can get around those issues easier for you than the normal day guest.

Yes there are some crazy stairs especially in Nintendo. - The ones outside are pretty steep steep stone stairs.
The stairs for Mario Cart are pretty crazy as well - you have to go down several flights and then back up.
There are elevators so that is fine - but as someone who does not need to use the elevator at this point I avoid it - but the stairs are no joke IMO.

Pretty sure there were lots of stairs in Monsters Unchained as well - but nothing like Nintendo.

Anyway as the PP said the VIP tour will sort that out I am sure so I would not worry too much about it.

I think it depends on whether a flight of stairs in a queue is a problem or not. There will be a way to avoid them, but it might be a slight delay, if multiple parties are trying to use them. Regardless, it's not a big enough deal to worry about.

The stairs in the main Nintendo area are very easy to avoid, big elevators on both sides of the land. Anyone who prefers the main elevators can use them, no one is babysitting the elevators within the land. I have heard that they prefer you use the escalators at the entrance during early entry, but if you need the elevator you can ask.
