Reading all the posts about packing made me laugh. My family (parents, sister, nephews, etc) always make fun of me because I always over pack toiletries, medicines, and stuff like that. I bring daily vitamins, cold medicines, allergy meds, cough drops, tylenol and/or advil, tums, pepto, etc, etc, etc for everyone. Prior to this year I had to bring 3 different types. Adult, older child, younger child. So I had a whole bag of all kinds of stuff for all age groups.

It was like having a pharmacy.
Well, it never failed that there was always someone that needed the meds. They all laughed but they were not laughing when they needed the tums, cold meds, or worse...the pepto.
And I still find myself on this trip packing every type of med we might possibly need.

Allergy stuff for DD which includes chewable tablets, anti itch spray, allergy eye drops, and then there are the ear drops for swimmers ear. She had that a couple weeks back so of course I can not leave home without those.
The way I look at it is that it is better to over pack and have it just in case versus having a 5 year old suffering or paying an arm and a leg for it on the cruise ship.
Ok, well I am finally calling it a night. I am tired and Mittens, now about 6 weeks old, is walking all over the key board making it very hard to type . He also bites and claws at everything. He snuggles up under my neck and then OUCH...he bites my neck. He is like a little vampire. My hands, arms, and neck are so sore after today. I tried trimming his nails when he was sleeping but they are still so sharp.
No work tomorrow. Just getting the last minute school supplies for DS, haircuts for kids, getting clothes out for first two days of school, packing book bags, and getting a few items to pack for lunch at school. DS has baseball practice tomorrow night then it will be off to bed early for everyone.
After tonight I will probably be in bed with DD (5) at 8pm.
