If all goes as planned my last treatment will be this upcoming Monday. That will give me 2 weeks to get back to somewhat normal and be ready for the cruise! This last one was a little rougher than the others so I'm hoping the very last one isn't quite as bad.

Dianne- I just heard they signed Smoltz, who Boston released. I hope he does better for SL than he did for us. WTG Cardinals!

I hope so too, the cardinals seems to improve players whom seem to be on the way out, Now I must tell you I am not a big fan of Tony Larussa, but he seems to bring out the best in players.

You are all too funny!!! I am just surprised no one has been brave enough to say ....ARE YOU CRAZY?? I am sticking with the masters at this point primarily because my company reimburses me if I get at least a B. I do want to finish it but it's just taking so long and I am tired of all the school work. I love learning all the new stuff but the busy work is a real downer.
Right after I started the masters program back in 2005 my company offered a project management professional certification program. I was 'encouraged' to pursue the certification. So, that is when I first stopped working on my masters. Stopped for about 1 1/2 years. The PMP was pretty tough. The great thing was the PMP program was paid in full and the only stipulation was that you had to take the certification test. You were not required to pass it. So, that really helped get me through it. Less stress. It was a 4 hour test and it was pretty tough. At least for me. But I was so relieved when I found out that I passed it. Since then I was just taking classes when I could fit them into my schedule. Now I am just doing whatever I can to finish within the next year.

With all this going on, I just swore I would not let any of it interfer with my kids and their activities.

I have to admit there are many days I wish I was not doing any of it. Like those weekends when I am up half the night cleaning under the fridge or stove.

I guess I should also admit that my house pretty much ALWAYS looks like a hurricane blew through it. It bothers me but again there is always tomorrow to clean. It's not like it is going anywhere.

Everyone here is very busy with life whether it be work, school, kids, grandkids, health issues, driving 700 miles in a day to take your kids to their grandparents and 700 miles back the next day, getting up early in the morning to take your daughter to work to detassle corn, spending all day supporting your son while he earns his black belt, etc. I actually all of you for your positive attitudes, perserverence, and kindness. Not sure if you noticed one of my favorite quotes on my avatar. Those who plant kindness gather love!

You all are gathering much love in your lives!!

You have brought a tear to my eye for your kind words. Literally.

I can't believe we start our road trip 3 weeks from today. I feel like there is still so much to do!

WOW! We have become a chatty bunch. I had so many pages to read. Mary, you reminded me that we too will be on the road headed to Disney. I cannot wait.

I will be working from home today. I have to finish my brief and I definitely cannot finish it in the office with the phones ranging and constant interruptions. many thanks for the congratulations! If you are on facebook, please don't say anything since we are waiting until we get back to let everyone know (some family already knows). I would love to have a virgin fufu drink and would love for those who can drink the non virgins to have an extra for me!
I checked UPS and I will get my package on Friday. Can't wait. The cruise will be here before we know it!

So true! This year we weren't telling anyone about the cruise since I wasn't able to get to FL for a graduation in June 2009! Guess what? She read it on FB and wasn't happy with me! But in all honesty, DH and I talked about going to the graduation but decided with my health condition we didn't want to see the worst of me at the graduation and then realizing SSMC09 may not be a good idea Oh well . . . the cat's out of the bag!

lol... I do a lot of that. The TV is always on, but I spend a lot of time on the computer.

Dave, Our middle DS's best friend from college is from a town west of Boston (forget the name) but I call him my Boston Son, and he LOVES the Red Sox!
Last time we went to WDW we had DS and Boston Son meet us there. It was the first time he had ever been to Disney!

Thats pretty cool, Red Sox Nation stretches everywhere. On our DCL cruise in 2004 and 2007 we watched the Red Sox on the Jumbotron in the playoffs, it was weird because almost everyone watching were Red Sox fans, not the teams we were playing against. (In 2004 it was the Yankees and we outnumbered them 10-1)

That must have been nice to take someone to Disney for the first time, it makes it a little more special.

I felt so bad for him. He looked so sad after his last game with the Red Sox. I hope he does well.



I like the Red Sox but come play offs (or whatever it's called - I'm a hockey fan)!

Don't forget that we walked to school up hill both ways when we were kids too! That's what we tell our kids anyways. lol

He is going to the University of Nebraska. Actual both my youngest kids went their but DD didn;t want to go back she said it was just too far for her. Maybe a semester at home with dad and she will change her mind lol

I LOVE THE YANKEES...DEREK JETER...Phillies are ok since they are from PA, but I love my Yankess since I was a little girl watching with my dad. He grew up in Brooklyn (yea, I know he should have been a Dodger fan), and that's where I got my love of the Yankees...and that Derek Jeter is the nicest young man. I have read his books for children and he really has a wonderful upbringing. You never hear anything bad about him.

Is my reservation for the cruise the same number as my reservation on DVC?
Is it different? How do I get my cruise confirmation number if it is different?
I can't find it on any of the papers I have.

I used to love starting school the day after Labor Day...by then I was ready to go back, we had the whole summer to ourselves, and the pool closed on Labor Day...one last day of fun. The kids here now go the week before and then they get a 3 day weekend...makes no sense, except that the fall sports start then, so I guess that is why they changed it.

I can't imagine home schooling...I don't have the patience for that. I wish I did, and besides, I am a procrastinator and nothing would be done. I admire those of you who can do this...my hat is tipped to you!
