Good morning everyone!

Just today getting ready for work me and DH were talking that we can't WAIT for the cruise. Since we won't be bringing the kids with I don't have to worry about where they are and what they are doing. I can just relax. I can already feel like I'm there. I don't want time to go by to quickly but can it be September yet?

Sounds like you will have good weather today at camp Sue. Those kids are probably having a blast no matter what the weather, but the sun sure helps things out! Hang in there through the lunch today. It sounds like it could be an emotional one with ups and downs.

Ravonne - glad I'm not the only one singing while on hold! Hakuna Matata what a wonderful phrase! We also love Disney Music and have made CD's for our road trips to Florida. Gets us going!

Hey everyone!

I'm more of a lurker on this thread, but wanted to say something about parasailing. I am a bit afraid of heights, too. My wife and I parasailed for the first time when we were on Castaway Cay last year for the WB Panama Canal Cruise on the Magic. It was absolutely fantastic! The two fellows in charge put us at ease and made us feel totally safe - they were also hilarious. I could've stayed floating in the air for an hour - that's how exhilarating it was! I enjoyed it so much that I've signed up to do it again on the DVC cruise. So even if you have a fear of heights, you may enjoy parasailing.

It looks like the cruise theme might have something to do with animation. We've never been on a DVC Cruise, so I don't know how they work the theme into the cruise activities. We are so excited!.

My wife and I got back from the Podcast Cruise a few weeks ago and are really looking forward to another cruise with the DISers.

the more I hear about the parasailing, the more excited I get. I hope the weather is good this year - I'm feeling lucky.

I just got home from a 6th kids birthday party from my girlfriends son. Had fun.

It sure was hot out there. It is still in the 90's here with thunder storm warrings.

Go up to the red bar at the top of the page and click UserCP (on the far left).

Then look down the left hand side and under the header Settings & Options is one that says Edit E-mail & Password.

Happy Thursday everyone! I'm still on vacation, though now I am in Penn. However, my vacation is quickly coming to an end. I'll be driving home on Sunday.

I did enjoy the drive down from NH to VA so much that I am contemplating driving to WDW next August ('10) instead of flying. Its been on my mind to drive during one trip for a while, but since this trip is about 1/2 way it was a good test.

Since we haven't been on a Member Cruise since '05, I guess I was assuming that there was a special gift in your stateroom each night that cooresponded to that day's theme. Do they still do that?

I have only been on the same cruise as you, but I was always so thrilled by the surprise gifts found on my bed every evening. I still have everything. The alarm clocks came in handy when we had no power for 2 weeks after a hurricane.

Loved it, but if you prone to motion sickness, (as my sister-in-law is). Take into consideration that you are one of many to sail before going up. My sister-in-law became seasick while UP in the parasail, and "fed the fish" from a great height. Come to find out from the boat captain that this is a common occurrence. In fact, is seems there was some form of a commentary on the radio to such events;

"There she blows".

My sister-in-law, will not parasail again...

I would like to try parasailing but I am too afraid of heights. I can see myself up in the sky now freaking out, "feeding the fishes", and praying all at the same time.
