I'll be on the Wonder August 13th for the 10 year anniversary of their Inaugural Cruise, so maybe I can find out more about the cruise being on the ship then DVC can give us on land!

Don't they usually keep secrets so that you'll be more enticed to come to something or book a cruise to see it! Don't they already know how long we've all been booked - we're not backing out now - so just please throw us one bone!!

Me personally, I'd love to know a little early because how are we supposed to decorate our door to match the theme!

Well, we got some of our dining reservations made for after the cruise at some places we have never eaten before and have wanted to try.

Thursday night we will be dining at Narccosse's at the Grand Floridian. Since we are staying at the Polynesian we thought we would just stay on the monorail that day. Plus it seems like a very relaxing place.

Then on Friday, we have a late lunch planned at Fulton's Crab House. DH has always wanted to eat there and we thought we would get a late lunch so we could enjoy the extra magic hours at EPCOT that night, and maybe a few glasses of wine from around the world. Especially at the Italy Pavillion! They have great wine.

Then the rest of the weekend we are just going to wing it. While we were down there in June we really enjoyed snacking all day. We would stop somewhere when we were hungry order one set of items, like a main dish, side and dessert and then the four of us would share it. It worked out great and we got to try lots of different things. I guess we are weird that way. We like food. That is why we are sad that we will miss Food and Wine Fest this year at EPCOT because the members cruise is too early. So, in an essence, we are making our own Food and Wine Fest.

If you check out page 95 of this post, you will see our group on the '07 cruise and you will notice that some go all out, and some only partially.
It's all up to you. My DW & I will be dressed up totally.

I have not been on the 4th of July cruise but...Let me think,

3 nights, no house work, tons of other kids for your son to play with, a pedicure, no cooking, pools, cold drinks brought to you, stateroom attendant. Ice cream bars at midnight. Fireworks at sea (weather permitting). GO!!

Couldn't get any better than that!!!!!

Question for everyone: Has anyone every done the parasailing on CC? I have tried three times when we have been cruising, and everytime, we have been cancelled due to weather.

I'd love to hear about it so that I don't chicken out - we signed up for it on Monday.

But this afternoon....I booked the parasailing for Monday, Sept. 14th from noon-1pm. I am nervous and a little scared and at the same time....I'm excited. My husband will be coming with me...that's good

Sue, I had always wanted to parasail before my 40th b-day. I had looked so forward to it for so long but it was cancelled the day we were to do it. I literally cried I was so sad.

But, the very next year, after turning 40, we returned and were able to do it! And it was so worth it. I loved it. It is so quite while you are sailing up there. Here is a link with some pictures you have got to see. They are absolutely awesome. And ehagerty will be sailing with us on our cruise!

We took our video camera so we video taped each other while up there. All four of us did it. They made the girls go tandem, but me and DH both went by ourselves. And the boat ride is fun too! Along with watching everyone else.

Hi Chris...I looked at the photos from ehagerty...they were wonderful. I booked parasailing this afternoon for Michael and me. I'm nervous, scared and excited. I can't wait.


I am glad they finally posted something on the SSMC 2009 site...it's about time....summer....not spring!!! Hmmm...what do you think?

I hope everyone had a good day. It didn't rain today....that's a good thing. The sun peeked through the clouds a bit. The high for the day was 76 degrees.

With all this talk about Parasailing I made res for Danny (DH) on Monday at 11:00. He has always wanted to do it. I do not have any desire to do it. I will be on the adult beach taking pictures. I am sure I will not be allowed on the boat of I don't do it.

I know what you mean about leg cramps. I used to get them from one of the blood pressure meds. Not from the one I am on now. How this one works.
