Hi Everyone!

Wow what a wonderful day I had here at camp! the sun was out for most of the day and it got up to about 85. I made up "scoring" cards and we had a belly flopping contest - it was great.

the Luncheon was wonderful - many many happy campers and wishes for many more years ahead.

believe it or not, I just walked in from having finished my sand sculpture. I promised the kids it would be done for tomorrow, so I asked my DH to bring me a light so I could keep working on it. I will take photos in the morning. But since it involves the logo and the name of the camp, I will have to ask permission from the director before I can post the photo. I hope its okay. I'd love to share it with you.

Camp is done tomorrow. Hope all goes well then. But I wanted to thank everyone for your warm wishes throughout. It has meant alot to me.

A few weeks ago DVC called to say they reached us on the waiting list! We had given up all hope. Last Nov. when the booking opened we were down in WDW & I called on my cell phone, got through & before getting confirmation my battery died. FRUSTRATION. Called back later & was given number 2188412 on the waiting list. I asked the DVC rep if this meant that we had over 2,000,000 people ahead of us. She assured me there were no more than a million ahead of us. LOL
At any rate I'm Chris from Queens, NYC & will be traveling with my wife Janet & her best friend Lynn from the Bronx. We are all in our (very) late 50's and love Disney. We have a 3 night stay prior to sailing at BCV.

If you check out the first post of this thread you'll find what the group is up to and how you can get to the group web page and how to send your info if you are interested. The only thing that might change from what is posted there is the party bus to the port. Annmarie hasn't been posting much dealing with health issues so I'm not sure if that is happening.

Glad it all turned out so nice. If you can't post a picture you could bring one to show us on the cruise if that would be ok. I could understand if they said no.

I was just looking at the counters and noticed we are now in the "7" for day. To be exact 79 days.

That means that in 30 to 45 days the documents got out right?

Oh I just can't wait.

We do online check-in so the only thing we really get as documents is our luggage tags. Everything else is printed out and signed well before that. In fact I'm most likely going to do it this weekend.

We do the same thing. It is so much easier that way. I have done everything but the Credit card info. I will do that in the next couple of weeks. What I do like is most of the info is there since they have are pasport info all I have to do is verify it.

Yep, we must be related! We live at the mouth of Big Cottonwood Canyon on the mountain, overlooking the whole valley. We are at about 6500 South and 3500 East above Wasatch Blvd. if you are familiar with the area!

I AM FINALLY THE PROUD OWNER OF THE MICKEY SCULPTURE THAT WAS OFFERED ON LAST YEAR'S DVC CRUISE!!!

Fed Ex just delivered it here to my office. It came in a box 3 feet tall and 3 feet wide. Guess they wanted to make sure it didn't break during shipping!

Don't think I'll be adding more points this year so.

I joined this happy group not long ago and already feel like a vet! I'm just a little below you in South Jersey, not far from Philly.

We are also staying 3 nights prior to sailing, but we are at SSR. Hope we get to say hello soon!

Well, I'm home from camp with mixed feelings. Its great to be home and comfy. My cat is certainly happy that I'm home. But when the kids were saying goodbye today, it was really tough. There are one or two who I'm not sure whether I will see them next summer or not. But everyone of them will stay in my prayers throughout the year and who knows what next year will bring!

My photos of my sand sculpture came out pretty well and I am waiting to hear about whether or not I can post them - if not, I'll bring them with me and hopefully I will get to show some of you that and some of the kids!

Picked up a few things for my fish extenders the other day when I was out - I'm getting so excited about the whole cruise! CAN'T WAIT!!!!
