EVERYYEAR THEY GIVE DIFFERENT THINGS. IF THERE IS 5 IN YOUR CABIN YOU WILL GET 5 OF THE SAME THING. For example one year we got empty shadow boxes as one gift, you will get 5 since you have 5 in your cabin. If they give those kids hard plastic MICKEY cases for kids you will get 5. If you are driving you dont need to worry about space as much. We are flying after we leave WDW so weight and space is critical We usually buy 4 bottles of RUM on the ship also.

Charles is so excited about the cruise. We were watching AFV last night and when they showed the ship and CC he said that is my vacation. Molly will definitely have company. If she is coming to the DIS meet they can meet each other there or in the terminal. I will have on my Disney Inspirations t-shirt from last year & Charles will have on his DCL t-shirt.

To post pictures, you have to upload them to a photo sharing website. I use Photobucket because it gives you the image code underneath the picture. After that all you would have to do is copy the link that begins with

and paste it in your post.

Woo Hoo - all packed except for toiletries, last minute items, and a few items that need to be worn and washed this week. We have 3 suitcases for the 2 of us with an extra for the trip home just in case. Oh and then we'll have like 3 carry on's. It's official I don't know how to pack light.

Also managed to rearrange and firm up all our reservations and get a final plan for where we want to be on the days in WDW. And print some more magnets. But I ran out of magnet paper so I'll have to get more tomorrow to finish those up. Almost done though and I'm so excited about that.

Been a very productive day so far.

I am not a light packer either. I keep saying to myself I have to save room for the gifts. I am so glad we are driving.

Suit cases are out & clothes are out. Now all I need to do is pack, ugh can't the clothes just jump in the suit cases. Where is Mary Poppins when you need her.

If only it were that easy. I would love it.

Since this is my 1st member cruise, I wanted to know if a extra bag is needed for the gifts that are given through out the cruise?

Bring an extra bag or save room in your suitcases. We were arranging and rearranging stuff because we did not bring an extra bag.

Yes, dear fellow DVC'ers, today IS my lucky day. Not only, did Marsha do a daily countdown(WOOHOO),BUT, We did find the passport,,, double WOOHOO!!!!! Now for the million things that I still don't have time to do. Oh,,, got to go online and check in. WEO,,,(any of you guys remember that,,,, from A&P supermarket?)

Thanks everyone for posting the pictures. I really enjoyed them. You have brightened my day. I had to go to work today so I wanted to see some pictures to remind me that vacation time is almost near.

I have a request. For those who have pictures of the ship and/or from previous member cruises, please post at least one each day before you leave. I love looking at all the pictures. Plus, it give me an idea of what pictures I need to take on this trip and what areas of the ship I need to explore. Thanks in advance.

Debbie, Janette has sent messge to dining table planner for our 2 tables. She said not to worry. She also told me that you and I should go down to Palos booking desk to try to arrange our Brunch to be at same time when we board. She will call here fri to say it has been confirmed.

Yes, people will leave notes. I read one person put a pack of post-its on their door and tied a pen to the fish extender. Every time he came back there were notes on his door.

I haven't been on the "secret" overlook on deck 7 and some other places. There is so much exploring I have to do. I am going to come back with over a thousand pictures I'm sure. Half of them will probably be of food.

So excited for all of you doing Palo. I hate to say but last year we did Palo three times on the members cruise, so I told DH we should skip it this year. Especially since the girls will be with us and I want to eat with them. We are getting close to the last of the family vacations with all four of us I'm afraid if we don't dine together this year we could loose out.

I will say that I liked dinner way better than the brunch. Just my opinion. I hope you all enjoy your experiences there. It really is a remarkable place to eat. And very romantic if it is just two of you!
