We always stay on park, but I hear the Radisson at port is very nice. We do move fast, having just got off of what I consider my GREATEST vacation ever! We had a lot of inspEARation from that group. Don't worry, My dh KNOWS I am a crazy planner. I'm already planning our 2008 NYC trip. Christmas 2008 I have officially gone insane I believe that ANY good vacation needs a little structure to run smoothly. Our first WDW vacation as a family (dh, dd, and ds and I) I had itinerary for everyday written in a notepad we carried around the parks. We saw EVERYthing we wanted to see and had a BLAST! I'm so glad we didn't just wonder around without a plan. Ever since that trip, Kevin puts up with my OCD preplanning with a smile on his face knowing that we will see and do everything we want to see and do.
Oh, and as for a car rental company, we always stick with Enterprise but that's just my dh's preference.

Just busy busy busy. Just went to Cracker Barrel for low carb dinner in Lincoln, Illinois. I've been trying to hammer out plans for Kev's Birthday party. Can you believe this will be his first birthday party ever? It's 2 days before Christmas so it kind of always got lost in the shuffle. Not this year! We are going all out! "Smores and weenie roast by the campfire and everything. Ya'll coming?

I just found out last night that my recently divorced mother (after being married to my father for 26 years, high school sweethearts) has been dating! And has been dating an FBI agent at that! My brother told her that atleast we know she's safe because the government has already checked him out Good news, as she was having a hard time. You know "I'll never find anyone else, I'm 49 years old who's gonna want me" type of thing. Now if I can just get her to go on this cruise with us........

At least one of us has not fallen off the diet wagon...My mind thinks I'm still on the cruise and wants to eat all the time! I will get back to walking soon, I still lift weights every other day, but without the walking, it's hard to keep the lb's off.

November 16, we have guests coming in on the 17th. My house is a DISASTER and my maid went AWOL. She was supposed to come clean before we left but she never showed So I have to make a mad dash to clean up before guests arrive. Kiddo's are coming up that next Tuesday, the same day house guests are leaving, for Thanksgiving. Busy, Busy, Busy. But we are gonna try and make plans to get up your way. I have some good pics of Josh at the Mickey Ice Cream Bar Eating Contest. And good one's of you and Kev trying to inhale your Mickey Bars.

We DEFINITELY have to stage another Mickey Bar Contest. That was fun to watch, I got a brainfreeze just from watching!

Are you getting nasty weather today? I talked to my mom and she said she had to turn the a/c back on. Is it EVER going to turn fall around there? I hope so.

Mama is in LA, otherwise known as Lower Alabama She is in Dallas County. Yesterday she said it was over 80 there. Last night got down in the 40's then back up again today.

Please keep your pants on no matter what the temperature is. Alabama is not a nudist state yet! We are in Sacramento, CA and it is 86 degrees. HOT! But Kev and I have our pants on.

Ok folks, we are falling behind. As I am doing a B2B I am working two threads. I see lots of ideas being tossed around and some really neat planning going on with the other thread. Is there anyone besides me that wants to start now? I can hardly wait for next September. Anyone interested in having a general Celebration time on one of the two days at sea? We could celebrate anniversaries , birthdays and anything else brought to the table. Who out there is celebrating a special day? What about having breakfast together one morning? Do we want to set up some kind of gift giving scheme? Do we want to create matching t-shirts to identify each other? Has anyone done this before? This is my first time on the DIS boards and don't know how to do any of this but do know that it can be done. If other are not interested in this I am Ok with that but if you are then I say lets start talking and making plans. It might be fun. No pressure it is up to each of us what we want to get out of this week on the magic. Mouser

We are going to do all of the above, PIT has started the official page, see P4P49, she will be keeping everything on that page. We can start planning anytime. Cyndi and Kevin (PIT), are going to have a precruise meet at Saratoga Springs on Fri. night Sept. 7. She is also planning the PJ breakfast and I will be hosting the "MICKEY BAR" eating contest. I have seen the other board and I know of several people that cruised with us on the 11 day, CAPTCRASH, AKA CAPTCRUNCH, is really working your board. Which is a good thing by the way We need more people to 'PLAY' on this board. PIT and I do not want to run anyone off by taking over everything I'm hoping after Christmas, this board will take off as well.

Cyndi is also going to keep the roster on P4P49, which will have names, hometowns, pirate names and cabin #'s as well as pics. Cyndi and Kevin drive a big rig across the country every week and I know she has been busy, but give her a little time and she will "geterdone" Again, after the Holidays, things will get rolling and this board will rock and roll. Plus, if anything on the other board looks interesting, post it here. We are open to every suggestion....

xABearX (hubby) already posted that we'll be on this sailing, but I wanted to stop in and say "hi".

We cruised the same time as Capt Crash a couple of years ago and I'll never forget the "ice cream eating contest"!!! It was really funny!!!

Capt Crash (and some of the other DIS members) also organized a scavenger hunt for the kids. They had the older kids act as "team capts" and a parent went with each group. Then the other parents made age-appropriate goodie bags and all the kids received one (whether they finished or not). He would probably remember, but I think they did girl bags, boy bags, and toddler bags.

I can't wait to sit in Diversions and watch NASCAR. Being out on deck 7 listening to it is fine, but watching it will be so much better.

Guess I'd better get back to work.

Are you 'Volunteering' (sp?) to head up the scavenger hunt? If so, PM PIT and she will add it to the official page (P4P49) If not, keep posting the idea and someone will get it going.

Did they replace the pub master? When we disembarked last month, it was the pub master's last cruise. Luckily they have more than one TV, so we should be able to watch a little NASCAR action.
