If you have lots of spare points to blow, you can always consider rather than staying in a more expensive points studio, to go with a 1-bedroom villa. I find availability is much better for 1 bedrooms on shorter notice than studios. The points for a VGF deluxe studio are about the same as a 1-bedroom at OKW for example. Just something to consider.

Or a 1-bedroom at SSR, in my case. I just booked a WDW stay for September, and I was shocked at how limited availability was at 7 months. Shocked and disappointed, but not really surprised since I was booking a studio in September. Soon I'll be adding a couple days at SSR, and I won't hesitate to look at 1 bedrooms if I can't get a studio. Thanks for reminding me about the points.
