08 Snacks!

We have used the DDP in 06 and 07.Those years you could get just about anything that cost under $4 as a snack credit. Is this still true with the new 08 plan? Main street caramel apples YUM!

I'm not an expert, but I read here a lot, and from what I've read, no, it's not that simple anymore.

Fabulous "sticky" thread here giving a nice, long, continuously updated list of DDP snacks.

Though it does look like caramel apples from Main Street are on that list.

This is not an official-from-Disney list; it's actual DISers experiences. The absence of an item doesn't mean it's not considered a snack on the DDP, it just means nobody posting in that thread has purchased it with the snack credit.

On the other hand, the presence of any item on this thread does not guarantee it will still be considered a snack credit item when any given Guest actually tries; the only guaranteed items are the ones listed in the Dining Plan brochure.

Appears that a good rule of thumb is: Single serving portions only. A caramel apple ought to be considered a single serving.
