Has anyone seen "Superbad"? We rented that because we heard it was so good. But now we've been hearing from others that it really isn't that good. Oh well, we have nothing better to do tonight!

Now that wasn't too fluffy was it?? :rotfl2: I'm done. I made it to 800!

No that was not fluffin...That was a "real" post...>!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nearly 95% the same, yours is a BBC production, (thats our premier TV service).

You have two different hosts, but two of the judges on yours are Len and Bruno our Judges, ( well two of our four, you have three) but your set, the title music, the stage, the voice over etc are all ours,

We had an old programme running for 50 years odd 'Come dancing' Strictly is based on that, -it had only proffesional dancers, and the BBC sold the format around the world.

I presume as the USA do not know 'Come dancing' they wanted to explain what the show is about.

Sounds like it is pretty much the same....

When we were in Ireland it was neat to se how many shows were the same as in the USA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Happy Holidays!!!!!!!!

Rough day? it looks like your talking to yourself in this thread :rotfl2: :cool1: :cool1: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: 5 posts in a row.

Sounds like you have had some flying adventures lately???

Flying out of Newark gets us delayed - even in perfect weather. We sat on a sunny runway at MCO last year for 2 hours because of "traffic at EWR"... Our trip last month was on US Air out of Philly and, yes, our luggage made it both ways with us!! We booked our flights in the summer and when I went online about 8 weeks out I noticed our outbound flight had changed and so we no longer had any seat selections. Apparently USAir scrapped that particular flight and put us on the last flight of the day. A flight that was schedule to arrive at MCO at 11:45PM and had a somewhat-less-than spectacular on-time rate of 20%. Traveling with 3 kids that late really wasn't going to work.

I understand perfectly that flight schedules change, but the customer service reps were unusually rude and unfriendly. After pushing the issue with a manager we were given seats (together) on an earlier flight. Nearly everyone we spoke to that night it seemed was from the original, cancelled flight, too. There were a lot of families separated on a full airplane - kids sitting alone and so forth. There was a lot of tension on that flight.

OOH MY GOSH!!!! What an awful experience...That was not a GREAT way to start out a vacation......

Is Newark where you usually fly out of???

We try to avoid Newark at all costs because of the delays. It's a tough choice - Newark has the rep of long delays and Philly has the rep of losing your luggage! Atlantic City is a good alternative sometimes, but Spirit Air nickels and dimes you for everything now (i.e. luggage).

When flying we always add an extra day at the beginning of our vacation in case something happens. Last month we spent a night off property. It allows us to shake off any problems that came up and start fresh the next morning.

A good idea to get to MCO early to avoid missing the boat (ship).

I might leave Wedensday before the cruise.

I know in the past year or two our BBC shows have become popular in USA, Including American Idol (pop idol/X-factor) Extras, Doctor Who Torchwood,

K...

... I really enjoied viewing your pictures. They make me wish i were there! Thanks again. Now if only had the time to dredge up my photos of the last Star Wars event I attended.

I just hope people when they comment on the pics. by the way very nice, don't keep replying by copying the pics over and over. Nothing worse in a thread than seeing the same pics on 5,6,7 or more posts.

Caitlinsdad.... Lighten up... there are no rules limiting the sharing of good cheer through pleasant pictures - nor in engaging in a little lite hearted whimsy. Laugh a little - relax - and share the chuckles with others and soon you may find what comes around goes around.

Remember.... lighten up. Tis the season for all men and women of good will to share a little good cheer!, eh?

You do have me convinced. Just not really sure how I would go about it...

Kristin

If you haven't already, talk to your travel agent. And see if there are any travel school programs in your area. You could also talk to some agency owners (cold call) and ask them the best ways to break in. We had cold calls alot. Have you researched the travel industry overall on-line yet? If not then do that to get a feel for the industry as a whole (current pay ranges, volatility). I'm sorry I'm not much help! I actually e-mailed some Disney only agencies about 6 months ago to see about getting in part-time from home (side job) but I got no responses.

Last cruise we didn't arrive until midnight but we made it! This cruise we are hoping to arrive earlier than midnight!!I'll probably have a load of questions for you all closer to cruise time about staying on-site the night before. Because if we do get in early Friday I want to give my kids a taste of the parks. Well, unless that would be cruel since they want to go so badly!

I have been on site so many times, after the 2009 cruise I have an Villa this time, but I may stay 1-2 nights pre cruise at WDW on site.
