We are having some weather up here today. Windy and Raining all the snow is almost gone. We can finally see Grass tonight. So much for a white Christmas!!!!!!!!!!!!!

HI,

It is really wipping up here. Really really bad. The rain just keeps coming down.. Better rain than snow.............


We are having a bit of a pirate/santa race on my other cruise thread tonight...Lots of FUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The rain shorted out our outside display again. Tomorrow I need to go out and waterproof the system. Good thing the outdoor sockets are GFI

Kritter- I got that email! Thanks again. Well here are my plans: I think I have convinced DH to stay at BWV the week before the cruise. He loves Seaworld, so I think we may go there for a day, and Disney Studios for a day. We will check out of BWV on Friday- and drive to a resort down by the port and go to Kennedy Space Center that day. Then leave our car at whatever hotel we stay at and catch the hotel shuttle to the port. If anyone is wondering, I have serious vacation planning OCD- so bear with me. It drives my Dh a little nuts , and yes I do know what hotel I am staying at the port area, and how many points for BWV. Wow, reading this aloud really makes me realize I do have planning issues

Thats not planning issues, Its just knowing what you want.
Its better to be prepared, than go blindly and hope something works out.

Normally it only happens once a season, but this is the third time this year. It's my fault, I used cheaper plastic to wrap the electric sockets.
I will fix that tomorrow.

Sounds like it is a really popular show... I wish we could see it here. It sounds very interesting to me.......

What kind of toys do they have that are so popular? Or does it just not matter what the toy is just that it is based on the show??!!!?

That is exactly what we were having yesterday! DH has to work today so I hope that the wind dies down a little. He has to walk 12 miles a day! He said the absolute worst weather to have to work in is cold rain.

Hi, My name is Abby and I have vacation planning OCD!!! (you are in the right place) My sister went on our last cruise with us and she didn't do much pre-planning at all. It drove me nuts! I practically memorized the Passporter. So for the week (and the year leading up to it), I was the resource for cruise info. Everyone in our party came to me asking questions. So it's not OCD, it's "not missing out on things you'd probably otherwise miss out on because you didn't do your research"!! My DH does NO preplanning or research what-so-ever. He happily gives me the reins on travel plans. My co-workers made fun of me for being so obsessive about it, but I think after I got back to work saying it was the best vacation EVER, they understood.

We have been viewing NORAD's Santa Tracker for years - though as our kids get older they notice that the videos don't change from year to year!! This year with the Google Earth feature it is very cool! Our DS(8) still believes and he has been on the site all morning. Looking for when Santa makes it over Castaway Cay on Google Earth, too!

Andrew - is there postal service in the UK today (12/24)? We sent a friend a package and as of Friday it hadn't been received.

We do have post today but it isnt very good. If it hasnt arrived by now, 3PM I wouldnt be hopful.
