Hi all,
I was just looking at our reservation online and noticed that the Palo brunch , dinner and my daughters excursions under one of our rooms were all gone. I spoke with DCL and they are trying to fix it but I have to wait until Monday when the proper excursion desk opens! thankfullly I e-mailed myself a copy of the reservations I made! ( My reservation for the teen cruise in Coz was also gone on both rooms, probably do to the tendering, I hope they have that dock fixed when we get there!

Hi all. I did a little shopping for the cruise today. I am ready for June!

Are many in this group planning to dress for formal & semi formal night?

We've been doing some shopping too!! We always dress up for formal and semi-formal night. We think it's part of the fun! We don't get to dress up too often, and you can find some great deals on formal wear post prom season! Like I really need a reason to shop! It won't be long now!

I don't mind to dress up but DH detests the idea.

I got most of my shopping done. I still want to pick up a top or two for me. I can't seem to find flat duct tape though. I keep reading that it is a "must have" for emergencies...but I'm about to give up. I need a small cooler for my Dr Pepper & haven't found one of those either. Oh well.

Charla, I found flat duct tape. Now, if I can only remember where I found it. Let me think a bit, because I just found it not too long ago. worse comes to worse, come find me because I bring everything but the kitchen sink.

However, I do plan on ordering the kitchen sink, that is at Beaches and Creams at 4pm on 6-23!!!!

My guys will be wearing suits. I don't think it matters with ds-15, his jacket comes off as soon as we get to the table!!!

I have 2 black dresses. One dh bought (he did really well!! that is after I pointed it out in the ad.!!!) and then the other was an awesome buy in the teen department after homecoming.

I must say, my biggest fault is that I love to shop. DH doesn't mind, he knows I'm careful with the bills. He probably thinks the cruise was only $2000 for the 3 of us. Yes, dear that's right only $2000.

Do you all have Kohls???? I live there. When the red tag clearance is going on, I am soooooo there! I love to get a bargain. Anyone else love to bargain shop???

I searched for the flat duct tape for you. If you go to duckproducts.com and search, it will find flat duct tape. Then it has a link to "where to buy" and you can put in your zip code and it will have a list of stores. You can also buy it online, but the shipping is too expensive for something that small.

There are a lot of insulted small coolers. Have you considered a soft sided cooler to make it easier to pack if not being used? Or you can squish it down to a smaller size if it isn't full.

Charla- Thanks for the b'day wishes! Yes, we will be dressing up for formal, semi-formal and Pirate nights. I never wear dresses or heels (I don't like them!), but want to get some good pictures for my parents. Not to mention my DD loves to dress up. We got our formal wear from Ebay for great prices!

I just checked our dinner time and it still lists 6:00. How many had changes?

DDD's- not good news today. Up a couple of pounds. Please send pixie dust that at least some of that was due to TOM!!

Lorie - I love to bargain shop! I did a lot of that today. For under $100 I picked up 2 polo shirts for DH, Pants, Capri Pants & beach shoes for me, beach toys for DS & a few misc things for the trip. I went to Kohls but didn't end up getting anything. There were a lot of fall/winter clothes on clearance but I have way to many as it is!

I tried the duckproducts.com where to buy thing and it came back "We're sorry, no locations were found". Thanks for trying, I appreciate it.

I found some large soft sided coolers & some really big rolling soft sided coolers, but no sm-med sized ones. I'm going to try the sporting goods store tomorrow.

It's great to get back on the boards and renew my excitement for the cruise! I know it sounds crazy but a house in our area had come up for sale this week and all of a sudden we are buying a house, selling our house and getting ready for the cruise at the same time! Yikes!! We've been waiting for a house for 2 or 3 years now and unfortunately the timing is not so great. Talk about busy!

Since everyone is talking about changes to their reservations, I think I will check mine tonight just in case.

Charla, you went into Kohls and didn't buy anything? My family would faint!!

I called DCL about our dinner times and asked if ours would change. She asked if that is the time we wanted, and I said yes, so she said she marked it and we are set. It sounds like you can request which time, so if you really want a time, I would think now would be the time to call before they start assigning or re-assigning.

Shirley, I hope your house move goes well. It's fun to get a new house, but I don't think I ever want to move again. Unless of course I win the lottery! Then someone else can move me!

Lorie - I found a lot of things that I wanted to buy...but nothing for the cruise so I decided to hold out.

BairdBeth - what is DDD? I gather that it is some sort of weight loss challenge? I'm interested in learning more. I've been working on my baby weight for about 8 mos. I've got 27 more lbs to go. I'm trying to lose 10 more prior to the cruise.

Shirley - Good luck on getting your house transition taken care of. June is going to be a crazy month for us, I feel your pain.

I got our rental car taken car of this morning though I tempted to go back and add transfers from DCL. The rental is only going to save us about $46. I didn't realize they don't charge for the little ones. I still have to make a room ressie for Friday night. I'm checking Disney prices right now.

Charla, come join us at ASMO (movies) Friday night!!! and of course we have a dis meet at Beaches and Creames at 4. Perfect timing for the afternoon rest period!!

We're going to do a 1 day hopper on Friday. We've been to WDW a few times and we all have certain things we want to see. MK is suppose to be open until 2am. You'd probably have to steal away, but you're welcome to join us!!!

DDD is the double dip dieters, or something like that. We've been using the
DD to stand for double dip because of the 2 stops at CC.

Went shopping today and didn't have much luck find what I wanted.
I picked up a new pair of jeans for DH, he's always needing new jeans.
We're going to Macys later to try and find sandals for DH as well.

Musicgirl- we are also ready for that kitchen sink. They may have a full house with all of us in there at 4:00...HA...HA

RCBA - Hope you get a great deal at Disney and can meet at BC. What is the duck tape for? I know it works for everthing, but I must say I never thought of bringing it.

Jamie, I've heard people use the duct tape on doors that slide (during rocky waters), fixing luggage, fixing sandals, that kind of stuff.

I wonder if we should call ahead at BC to let them know that a big group will be there? Is it a sit down place or do you go up to the counter? Can we go outside if we like?

We've got 21 days left of school. I think I can lower that if I don't count fun fair day, this Friday we're going to Hersey Park for a band competition for the weekend, the last day I won't have anything to do!!! and I think there is at least one more day that is a field day. Oh yeah!!! 17 teaching days left!!! There, that's closer to the 16!

Did anyone else notice that it seems like the May DD is always at the top of the cruise meet board? Even it I just post, I get bumped down!!! What do they talk about???

We have 25 pages to go to meet the 100 pages by cruise day. That's a little less than 1/2 page a day!!!! We can do it!

Ok so I'm getting a little anxious for the trip, I'm creating countdowns!!!

Lorie - ASMO is the one I'd like to be at. DS likes Buzz. I think he would get a kick out of the resort. We haven't made our minds up about WDW on Friday. We have 8 hrs of travelling that day I on the other hand could definately make my self stay up for the MK

I ordered the swim cover up and another pr of swim trunks for DS. I have a feeling he is going to want to live in the Mickey Pool

I have noticed that the 1st DD group is ALWAYS at the top. They do a lot of talking!

Doingitagain - I've been checking the lunch box section and the ice chest section...still no luck. I'm hoping they will get a better selection in before memorial day. Thanks though!

Can anyone recommend a small, lightweight reasonable priced point & shoot digital camera? We have an awesome Sony w/ a jillion features but it is bulky and heavy, I'm going to purchase one that will be much more travel friendly before the trip.
