We haven't booked any excursions in St. Maarten however we just came back from an award trip there in January. You could easily take a taxi there on your own (probably about 30 minutes each way). Then take the ferry across (appeared to be a short ride). We did not go there as it was raining the day we stopped by, but friends later visited there and said is was very nice, but to get to the good snorkeling you have to walk a bit. Another friend also said they has some great grilled caribbean lobster for lunch on Pinel.

Hi everyone!!!!!

I got married this weekend so I'm sorry I've been MIA! I am now getting sooooooooooooooooo excited about this cruise! We're definitely going to be at the meetup on day one at 4:00.

We've decided to take a weekend trip to Disney World next weekend to amp up our excitement even more!

With less that three weeks to go we sure are! I've printed the most recent navigators and started mapping out the week. Am I the only one going to this extreme?

As for excited my daughter reminds us about once an hour that it is almost time.

Sadly, it is not uncommon that tours get cancelled because of the vendor not Disney. Last March that happened to one or two, but I do not remember why....wait one was there were not many signed up for it. It was in St. Maarten as well.

....I'm almost scared to post this message since I'll get this thread locked down too ....I almost feel like I'm being hunted....

I'm getting very excited as each day passes and the cruise gets closer! I think I am driving my DD crazy because every word out of my mouth is about the cruise and all she wants to talk about are boys. I told her to get her priorities straight.

Tell your daughter I am fairly certain that they allow boys in the stack....so she should get excited about the fact that there may be some cute boys in the stack on the cruise she leaves for in 18 days.

**But do not worry mom, the stack is well staffed. We have a friend who was the manager there until he got upgraded to the fancy white duds.

Post all you want here....you did not start this thread....seems like they only lock the ones you start. But I have seen lots of locks go on lately.

Nope the DIS moderators cannot stop you from sailing, but I know someone who can. Do you need me to give them a call?

I am finishing up signs for the doors. I worked for an hour on my Twiced Charmed one.

I decided I wanted a new shirt for Pirate Night so I am going to Jo-Ann's today to pick up fabric.

I finised the border for the quilt top we are bringing to be signed. I just need to make a few adjustments and that will be done.

We made final adjustments to our packing lists and will start the packing process this weekend.

Need to double check our FE gifts and make sure those are in order.

I will be starting online checkin for our cabins today.


***Wow now that I listed it feels like so much. Oh well it keeps us busy.

We REALLY wanted to dress up to the hilt for pirate night but in the end decided we just didn't want to spend that much on costumes. I can sew but really didn't want to get into all the sewing required to make costumes. So I guess we're just gonne be "those" people with the pirate theme t-shirts on and the bandanas that they provide. Maybe next time we'll go all out.

just wanted to let you know you want be alone....our "costumes" will most likely consist of the bandanas they give out at dinner, and us saying "Arrrrrr"
