Has anyone been recently and know the best time to catch Electrical Light Pageant on the beach by Geyser Point? We will be there in a week and it is something my SIL really wants to see.

does it get crowded like the beach at Poly? I just booked our first stay here at CCV so excited! Should we get to Geyser Point earlier?

Good evening from Copper Creek. As of tonight, the 6th floor of the Copper Creek side is under construction as well, so the lobby and mid-wing elevators do not go to the 6th or 7th floors. I would expect the 7th floor to reopen before more floors are shut down, but we will see.

Wow, we may have been some of the last guests in our room then. We were in 6127, and if you're into fireworks views, it was fantastic. If you have a younger child, it's loud during the fireworks, so probably not for you. But if you have always wanted fireworks all night, it was terrific. I would like to shout out the front desk staff, we had four girls in that two-bedroom and a busy week so bath/shower time was tough. I kindly asked if they had two small tubes of shampoo and conditioner we could get so some of them could use the soaking tub. We went to eat, and when we got back, they put two of the larger pump bottles of both in our room. Definitely not what I had wanted or asked for, but they did go above and beyond to help out! Also, if you were in 6125 from May 27 to June 1, what were you doing getting up at 11 at night and staying up until 4 in the morning on your balcony, talking loudly on the phone and smoking? Quiet hours are quiet hours, and smoking areas are smoking areas. Sorry, not sorry, for anyone that showed up to quiet you down

No, there will be plenty of places to see the water pageant. There isn't a beach, it's a walkway/patio like area behind and next to Geyser Point.

Does anyone know which floor the soft refurbishments are currently taking place on? We have a trip planned for mid-August and we are waitlisted for a 3 bedroom. We'd love to stay in a newer room if the waitlist comes through. Thanks for any information you have.

They have moved on to Floor 6. Not sure that I have seen anyone say Floor 7 is back open yet

There aren’t many 3 bedrooms, so not easy for waitlists or room requests. We stayed in one in March and they are lovely, so even if you get a non refurbed room, you will love it!

This week we had a 2BD waitlist come through for Thanksgiving week! This is our first stay at CCV (have stayed at BRV though!) and we've been watching room tour videos. The rooms look fantastic! I haven't been following the refurb too closely until now, but understand it's the first soft goods refurbishment since the resort launched.

Other than the Murphy beds, what are you longtime owners and fans hoping to see in the refurb?

We are really looking forward to our stay, and I'm curious to see how the refurb turns out as the current rooms look great! I'll be following along!

I honestly can't think of anything other than the Murphy bed. We really loved the design of the villas. I hope they keep the headboard in the master bedroom and the faux stone window from the bathroom. Looking forward to our stay there this fall!

Having just left on June 1; replace the drip coffee maker with a Keurig, and the sofa/chair and dining seating had definitely seen better days, but the sofa should be resolved with the inclusion of the Murphy bed.

Looking at getting a cabin in Nov, I just do not see a location the Murphy bed would be for the cabins in the living room. Anyone have thoughts?

The cabins do not have the murphy bed. They have a pull out sofa bed and a pull out single sleeper from a chair in the living room. One of the bedrooms also has the small bed that pulls out from under the TV.

We are staying in Copper Creek in a 2 bedroom for the first time in early November. I've stayed in a 1 bedroom in Boulder Ridge some years back and also on the hotel side, but was looking forward to seeing how Copper Creek compares. Have there been any other pictures circulating of the refurb? I'm guessing one of the floors should have either reopened by now or otherwise it's any day now...

Also, I think I posted about this a few months ago and didn't get an answer, but does anyone have any information about the exterior work that's happening? What has already been completed and what's left? I'm worried they might be working towards the Copper Creek side and that it will be covered in scaffolding by the time we arrive. (I was hoping for a construction break after dealing with the GF being under construction for a million years now lol!)

Thanks, I meant for the refresh. I know we do not know for sure the villas or studios are getting them.
But in looking at the floor plan of the cabins. I just do not see how they would be installed in the Cabins. Just wondering if anyone had any ideas.

Ah my apologies. I believe the murphy beds are only being added to the studio, 1 bdrm, and 2 bdrm villas. Adding a murphy bed to the 3 bedroom or cabin just wouldn't work with the way they are laid out.
