ª"˜˜ª¤.¸Team August 2013 Thread! (Part 2)¸.¤ª˜˜"ª&#9733

Did anyone have the website add duplicate members to your family and friends list? Instead of MDE showing 3 family members attached to my account (DH, DD1, and DD2), it told me I now had 6 family members. It listed my one daughter twice and my other daughter three times. I had to go in and delete all the duplicates.

My reservations are showing correctly, but under the Tickets section, it has a set of correct tickets and a set of incorrect tickets showing for each of us. The scary thing is that the incorrect set was what we had before we changed our reservation. It's weird that Disney would even have that old information hanging around their database (for the exact reason that it's now showing somewhere it shouldn't be). I'm not putting too much thought into it, because it's nothing new for Disney, but it's so annoying!

I wonder if that's why we each have 2 sets of tickets. We also changed our reservations along the way. I'm sure they'll get it all squared away.

I looked at DME but on the phone, arghhh.. Waiting for my wifi to be hooked back up. Router has be slowly dying and finally bit the dust this afternoon. Dh is installing the new one now and hopefully I can check DME. My reservation was there for my room but not my tickets. It was a package so if one is there then the other will be too...
~~~~~~
Park bags- my kids, 12, 9, 7 have only known the stroller at Disney so now they are in charge of their water. They all have a cinch ask for their water. There is no way I am carrying 5 water bottles plus my camera and phone.
I have a cross body bagalini and I have a thin back pack. I don't know what I will use.
And yeah, my mom only carried her pocketbook. We didn't carry drinks back them in the 70s and 80s. I am sure drinks were not as pricey then as they are now so we could buy a drink and not be shelling out a paycheck to do so.
We have 5 ADRs for our eight day trip. Dinners at O'Hana and Cape May and lunches at Via Napoli, T-Rex and Crystal Palace. DH wants a lunch at Big River Grille too, but they no longer take reservations, so we'll have to try our luck at a walk-up there.
We were thinking of trying big river grilled also this trip. I was bummed when I heard they didn't take reservations but then I heard that u can call about 2 weeks ahead and get a reservation. I am going to give it a try and see what happens.
As far as my ADRs we are doing Chef Mickeys, Cape May dinners, liberty tree tavern lunch and ohana, akerhaus breakfasts for our 7 night trip.
And strangely enough, I, the Canadian that shouldn't even have access to the MDE site, am no longer having any problems and everything is correct:rolleyes:.:rotfl:
Is everyone who is having issues within 45 days of arrival (we are having issues and are at 43 days out)? Maybe they are in the process of printing our documents and Mickey Mail, which is causing our accounts to get out of whack?
The other option could be those who did online check-in and those who did not (we did online check-in)? :confused3
We're 42 days out no issues. I did not do online check in.
We're 36 days out. And I just checked and still only have the one dining reservation showing up. I think the tech guy screwed up my account and just created me a new one, which makes no sense. Everything is showing up correctly on my phone though.
On a positive note, I booked the Pirates & Pals Fireworks Voyage for our family! A little bit of Disney magic on an otherwise frustrating day!:cheer2:
I am 31 days out and I already received my Mickey Mail. The website was wacky for me earlier today, not showing my ADR's and it has each person listed with 2 sets of tickets. At one point my husband wasn't listed for tickets but is now. I was able to get my ADR's to show but it is still listing the tickets wrong. My Mickey Mail is correct though so I don't think there is going to be a problem. I also never saw the spot for FP+.
I changed our reservation 3 times and MDE shows all of those tickets..the correct ones plus the ones from the previously scheduled trips. :confused3
I am glad you are all having problems with the website too---I have extra family members listed as well, and tickets listed for each of our booked trips even though I called and cancelled our tickets when we bought our annual passes.
For such a HUGE company, their website is terrible!!
We are 30 days out and I did online check-in. The site was very wonky for me today. Same issues as others, but I even on the few "refreshes" when it worked, I did not have anything that mentioned FastPass+ like some. :confused3
So I didn't see the fastpass+ section when I signed in, but they had 2 sets of tickets listed for everyone in my family! I know I didn't pay for that. The website is very wacky today.
Glad to know we aren't the only ones with two sets of tickets showing.
MDE has NEVER shown our park tickets. I'm getting nervous that they aren't there and though I thought we were done paying that off we haven't even bought them??? Can't be, right????? Dreading a Disney phone call!!!!!
MDE has shown our park tickets about 20% of the time, and I frequent the site often. I'm always surprised they are there when I do see them! Also that message about magic bands, ticket card or paper tix is gone again...back to "your tickets are included in your package" today.
I think I like the last 2 the best, but I'm not sure about how hot either would be...
Hard to tell right? But I think nylon compared to cotton...maybe cotton wins?
I like option 2 i think it wouldn't wrinkle too bad if you folded it right, though option 1 looks like it would be airier
DH likes option 2 'cause it's $12.00 with shipping, LOL. I think its a cute idea with the back as flap but maybe I am too worried about the nylon...
Haven't checked in, changed resorts, didn't have any trouble with the site, haven't checked my phone.
OK I need HELP!! I am photosensitive so I need a hat for Disney and it has to be pink.(...at least I haven't gotten over the pink thing as of yet.) I have these options I like from ebay. It would be great if the hat were crushable 'cause then I don't have to wear it on the plane and I can stick it in my park bag when I go on a ride. However is the non crushable one cuter? It's nylon will it be really hot? What should I do??
Crushable and comes in either color:
Nylon, kinda crushable but would get wrinkled:
Crushable, but is it too ruffled?
This one is for kids, but would something like this work?
It might not be as bulky and a little easier to fit in a bag.
So I am now thinking about a split stay 4 nights at CBR in a pirate room and 4 nights at POR in a royal room! Pirates and princesses!! :-)
I think you should just do a split stay at a different resort every night! LOL
I was thinking of something like that for DDs. I want a hat for me that I see as less sporty, more girlie.
This one is cute, but maybe the brim is too small to be effective? And I can get this one cheap from Kohls with my earned Kohls Cash from the luggage purchase and my 15% off coupon. Kohls had the crushable hats I posted before, but not in pink....maybe I have to get over the pink and go for a neutral color, oh blah. Thanks for the link to the cap!
