It looks like you guys had a great time at The Taste of Africa. The food and the shakes looked delicious! I have quite a sweet tooth so I have to remember to try that Sugar Cane Mojito! It looked so syrupy and tasty!

Taste of Africa sounds so yummy! The mango smoothies looked delicious, too. I'm so mad at myself that we missed it!

The African dancers are one of my favorite parts of AK. I love watching their show outside Tusker House. That's so cool that Chelsea and Connor got to dance with them!

Our trip out west was a lot of fun, temps were very warm, over 100 most days. Rte 66 is pretty much of a tourist trap, but fun. When was 9 we went to New Mexico on 66, lots of neat things to see that made it fun.

I love those mojitos at Disney, have one poolside on every recent trip! The mango shake looked refreshing, but I'm not a fan of mangos.

It was very syrupy -- I liked it, but it was really sweet!

It really was a wonderful trip overall! The heat was really the only downside!

That child is always making a mess of herself at Disney, and you can see why now!

Great update!!!!!! That mango shake and the mojito and the dessert looked SO GOOD!!!!! I bought one of the small frozen plants from the land and they gave me that Disney conservation button! Love your updates!!!! Tell Chelsea that I loved her pink shirt!

Hello, my dear friend!

this!! I know you would have been disappointed to not have seen them...they are my favorites, too, along with the zebras. After not seeing the zebras for awhile, since they're all at AKL now, this summer I made it a point we had to visit AKL to see them. They were hiding, too, but I did get a few pics.


Meerkat photoshoot...and captions! Now I see where Connor gets his sense of humor!

Yummy update. Taste of Africa looked great. Kinda like getting to try the awesome stuff at Boma without having to go all the way over there. I'm not a mojito fan. It always seems like a weird combination of flavors to me. And this guy wanted to say hi. We got really close at the Nashville Zoo.
