Can I hear from those non-touring plan visitors during Spring/Easter Break?

As some have already said have a loose plan and be ready to change plans if it get to busy go back to your resort and swim or just rest, we got and tour some of the other resorts and plan for future visits on where to stay. A break from the crowds will make the trip go better.

    Christmas at the Fort???

Just plan on very large crowds and also do not expect to do everything you want just have plenty of patience and you will do fine. This is a great time to go one thing we do is when the parks get real crowded we take a break and go to the resorts to see how they are decorated for the holidays.

Camper friendly Trip route from Northern NJ

I would also use RT 301 and stay on it to Bowling Green, DC traffic can be bad on weekends also, plus there is a Flying J at the exit (104) before you get on that is a good fuel stop. Unless you are leaving very early in the morning would be the only way I would stay on 95, tune into 103.5...

    New Years Eve

Just about everyones comments are right on the money, the only thing I could add is be prepared for a long trip back to your resort, when we left the MK it took us close to 90 minutes to leave the park get to our car and drive to Sarotaga Springs. If you have small children hold on to them or...

Trick or Treating at the Fort for Halloween

I do believe there have been a couple of other groups that have been pretty unruly during their stay at the Fort so bad that the county police had to be called in, but that still did not slow them down. We have seen the same problems at other campgrounds and some owners have asked people to...

Tips for things to do outside of the 4 parks!

Take the boat from Downtown Disney to Port Orleans resort and take a walk around the grounds it is a very nice area,if you are there towards the evening check out the entertainer there I heard he is really good, I think he is near the food court so you could plan a snack or maybe dinner while...

Fort Wilderness Camping & Disney Addiction

I have heard that some members extend their search for days at the fort then cancell the days they do not need, then of course they are only able to use those pointe at a Disney resort not a DVC( I think that was how they explained it).

    I-95 around DC--which way?

Leaving that early I would take the 95 route, alot of constuction on the west side. Tune into 103.5 fm they do traffic on the 8's and are pretty good with info and even detours around a problem.

    Lenght of Stay??

Usually it is cheaper to pay cash for a stay then use our DVC points but on the other hand if the points are going to expire I think it is better to use them then loose them. We have not had a chance to use our points since 2010 so we did rent them out instead of having them erip we migxpire(...

    Recommendations PLEASE

You do not have to wait until your use year is here to book on points you just have to travel after your use year ( I think). As far as getting a site on points we have never been able to get just a site when we want it a cabin yes site not so lucky. Spring break might be a hard one plus as said...

How long do YOU drive??? :)

I would drive right thru, usually if we take just the car it's right thru if I tow the camper we stop at least once and some time twice. I also let the traffic dictate how often we stop, I like to be relaxed some when we get there.
