There is no big flux in the crowds the week before a water park closes for rehab. Florida residents typically stay away from the water parks from October - April, and even with only one water park open, the crowds there are not a problem at all.

If you're heading down with the intention of making money while there, don't plan on it. It is supposed to be an experience, not a job. At $6.67 an hour, minus taxes, then rent, a 40hr pay check can turn into $150, and that's before food.
