    Sheraton Vistana Resort Questions

I went back and read a bunch of posts, and now can't find something I read - is there an area that does NOT have screened in porches/balconies? I think Cascades is going to fit our needs the best, so I plan to request that with Diamond Lane when we're closer, but I don't want that if the...

    Sheraton Vistana Resort Questions

So glad to have found this post! I didn't read every post, but it has definitely gotten me so excited for our May trip!!! DH and our 2 DDs are staying 5/3-5/10 in a 2 bedroom. We "bought" the week from a friend who owns and couldn't use it. We wanted to stay here in 2011 but there wasn't any...

Timeshare resort that also offers regular hotel rooms or studios?

We're heading down in May, and have the opportunity to buy a timeshare week from a friend (I'm pretty sure it's Interval International) for a 2 bedroom unit - it will be me, DH, DD5, DD22mos, my sister and her boyfriend. We can all stay in the 2 bedroom with no problem, but I wanted to check...

1900 Park Fare or Akershus for dinner?

We'd like to take DD for her 5th birthday to one of these places on our trip in May. It will be me, DH, DD turing 5, and DD22mos at least, still waiting to see if anyone else will be joining us on the trip. DD5 is OBSESSED with princesses. We took her to Akershus in 2011 at a month shy of 3...

pjs for the park at night and mad rush to the buses after Wishes

We did that with DD last year when she was about a month shy of 3. She wears the Carter's PJs that are a shirt and shorts or pants, so they look sort of like clothes anyway. We stayed off site and knew she'd fall asleep on the way back to the condo.

Disney World with a 2 1/2 year old

We brought our Eddie Bauer seat with us last year, and will never fly with a carseat again. Lugging it through the airport was ridiculous, and it's not a bulky seat at all. If you're renting a car, rent a seat, too. We gate checked our stroller and got a tag just before boarding. We flew...

    Best park bag when pregnant

I used a VB Hipster when I was 5 mos PG and had no issues. I also love my Baggallini!

    Your favorite stroller for Disney

For a much less expensive option, we've taken our Graco Literider twice, and it was great. It fully reclines, has great storage, a parent tray, snack tray, and really doesn't weigh much. It's basically a smaller lighter travel system type stroller. We had no problems getting it on a bus, or...

    Another stroller WWYD

The weight of the double has me concerned for sure. I figure we'll be looking at about 70 lbs of kids by then...I'm not sure anyone will want to push that all day. I think if we were going alone, I'd be just about sold on renting a double, but the fact that we'll have at least 2, and possibly...

    Another stroller WWYD

We will be staying in a vacation home, so storage shouldn't be an issue. I did consider buying a bigger umbrella stroller, but am on the fence about lugging 2 through the airport. DD is already 40 lbs and over 40 inches, too, so I don't know if the "cheap" strollers will work for her.

    Another stroller WWYD

We're getting ready to plan a trip for May 2013. When we go, our girls will be 5 (she'll likely turn 5 on the trip) and 21 mos. We're going to need/want a stroller at the airport, so we're planning to take our Graco Literider. We already know that DD5 will walk a lot, but we do want to have a...

    Disney and Pregnant...shoes

I was about 5.5 mos on our last trip and wore Nike flip flops the whole time. I wanted Crocs, but couldn't find a pair that fit correctly. I had no issues with swelling (but it was May and not super hot or humid), and was comfortable walking around all day. Definitely listen to your body and...

    Evening Activities for Toddler

We had a great low key evening at Epcot with our DD last year when she was just shy of 3. After dinner just walked around WS and took in the sights. We hung out over in Great Britain for a bit letting her walk through the maze and listening to the British Invasion. We brought her PJs and let...

    Epcot in Evening with Toddler?

We had a great evening with DD there last year when she was a month shy of 3. She loved all the countries in World Showcase, had a great time dancing to the British Invasion, and we met Pooh and Tigger. We brought her pajamas and changed her when it started getting late. We ended up not...
