The teacher's convention is November 4, 5 a little earlier than last year. My DS's have off the 4, 5, 6, 7th and then the 11th. Most people I know are going the week of 10/30 to 11/6. Hope that helps you out.

Well I guess I'll find out. We are at the BC concierge (Nov 8-16) during that weekend so maybe will see some of them. Although I don't watch soaps so if it's not someone like Harry Hamlin or Susan Lucci I'll probabily be oblivious that they are a soap star.

(BC) Concierge has their own room assigners. So you should e-mail your itineary planner and she should pass it along to the room assigner. At least thats how it worked for us.

Miffy, Have you considered the YC. It truly beautiful and elegant and quiet. I know it's more money but sometimes it's worth the extra (if possible) to truly enjoy your vacation. Only thing I would consider better is YC concierge. I'm like you (even though I have 3 kids) I like to relax on...
