    More trip insurance questions....

If you have AAA, you can get insurance through Access America. I paid less than $100.00 for 3 people for 8 days. I have also used insuremytrip.com and I took the CSA Silver package and paid about $130-140.00 for 3 people for 8 days.

    Rental car or Bus?

If you are talking about DCL transfers they cost about $48.00 per person roundtrip. You can call DCL directly and they will add it to your reservation. I have always found a rental to be cheaper when I rent it one way for the day.

    Trip Insurance ?

I bought the silver package one year from CSA. Luckily, I did not have to use it. This last cruise I used Access America via AAA. It came in a little cheaper if you are a AAA member.

Cat 9, Deck 2, anyone stayed here before?

I love category 9 Deck 2 and I usually stay in 2086/2088. I love the location for when I am rushing to get ready for dinner and the end of night leaving the clubs. The pools are far away but I feel I could use the stairs during the day for more exercise. At night when I am tired I am right...

Who do I tip in cash? How much cash?

You can also get change from Guest Services also if you run out of singles. Aside from porters, room service, etc. I also tipped the guy at Pinocchio's Pizza on the last night as I saw him from open till close every day and I thought this guy totally deserves a tip. He was so appreciative...

    Palo Reservations

You don't need everyone there to book ressies. We have done it for everyone in our group before. If you know their room #'s that would be better though.

Question? Where to stay night before cruise?

My first time I went on the DCL we stayed at the All Star but then took a cab over to the WDW Swan to get the bus transfer. The DCL bus does not pick up from the All Star's. Since I did not know any better that seemed the way to go. We got to the DCL about 1:30 pm. The last 3 times I cruise...

    Seven Mile Beach/Grand Cayman ??

We went to Seven Mile Beach on our own 2x. The cab ride is $4.00 per person each way. Although 7 mile is a public beach if you want to use chairs you need to rent them. We got dropped off by the Courtyard Marriott(formerly Holiday Inn), right there is a restaurant, bar, restrooms and...

Where are the big blown up ocean toys?

At Orient Beach in St. Maartin they have a big trampoline with a slide and it cost $5.00 per person to use it for the day.

How do the tips at Palo work?

I believe that $10.00 per person is the tip for the waitstaff. Why would there be a fee to eat at Palo's? You can order just as much food in the other restaurants without a fee. We always tip in addition to the $10 pp.

    Beaches on your own

I don't recall what the cab fare was to Orient Beach but it was not that much. 2 lounge chairs and an umbrella at Orient Beach was $15.00.

I see that you can bring alcohol on board...

I think it was called ABC liquor in Cocoa Beach. We picked up wine/liquor there.

    Palo Restaurant

Men are supposed to wear a jacket to dinner. A dress or nice pant suit for women is fine.

    nice t-shirts at dinner?

I agree also. I wear capris, sandals and matching t-shirts on the casual nights. I am not a blousy type person and I love gap clothing.
