I'm in GA and my nephew has fall break the last week in Sept. That's when we always go. He goes to private school though. Fall breaks are not common for public schools in GA.

Yes, sadly Disney decided to get rid of their pet stuff. In 2011 they had some stuff in fun finds on the 4 for $20 wall. I did notice at my wal-mart they had a stuffed Tigger toy. Its not Mickey but it could be a good replacement.

How long ago did you call? I've found that it can take at least a week for someone to get back to you. At least that is my experience with emails. I was going to recommend special events as well.

I live 8 hours away from Disney and always drive. Sure flying would be faster but I don't know of any airline that will fly a family for $150 round trip. So we stick to driving!!
