Please help me decide...Boardwalk vs Kidani

Boardwalk Villas location is just tremendous. Being able to walk to DHS and EPCOT is amazing - and if you feel like it, hop on the monrail over to MK from the EPCOT entrance. I love not being tied to the bus. Lots of good food choices over at EPCOT and at the Boardwalk itself. I found...

The NEW official, unofficial Boardwalk Villas/Boardwalk Inn thread!

:thumbsup2 We stayed at a preferred view Room 3110 (overlooking the quiet pool) Nov 7-13. We never stayed at a deluxe before (other than SoG). This was a real treat for us! The rooms are decent size, very nicely appointed. I found the BW Bakery to be very convenient in the morning and for...

    Overall Wonderful Trip 7-13 November

We planned for this trip for a year (me, 48, DW, and DD 13), a family reunion and first visit for our Granddaughter (9 Months). Flights down early Sunday morning from Norfolk VA were smooth and right on time. DW and DD picked up our bags at carousel while I checked in at the Thrifty car rental...

Upgrading WDW Park Hoppers - adding a day

We purchased our 5 Day Park Hoppers at a military ticket office in San Diego at a decent discount. We will be in WDW in November. We would like to add a day because we just found out we have an extra day in Florida! :cool1: Should we add (upgrade) before we use the tickets at the park ticket...

    Early Departure - Luggage question

Hi - we have a 5:15AM flight for our return flight - can we drop our bags off the night before (we are at BWV), and then just take a cab in the morning so we don't have to go so early on the DME bus? Thanks!

    EARLY Departure with DME??

Great info Dianne, thanks. Just out of curiosity, how much would a cap or a limo cost from BWV to MCO? Thanks again! :thumbsup2 Dan

    EARLY Departure with DME??

That was my question - does it have to be 3 hours prior to departure? That would mean a 2:15 AM departure from the hotel...we could leave easily around 3:30 and make it in plenty of time, but not sure DME will adjust - is it absolutely a 3 hour minimum prior to departure time?

    EARLY Departure with DME??

Hi folks, we have a 5:15AM flight  departing Boardwalk Villas on our return trip. Don't ask..... Anyway, how early do we have to arrange departure time with DME? In other words, what is the LATEST we can arrange to depart BWV for the airport? Thanks, we are new to all of this! Dan

DANG! Dad's a cheapscate! QUICK SERVICE ONLY? (Arguments FOR QSDP)

I get a kick out of those who judge those for being "judgmental". :) Everyone is entitled to their opinion, and there is right and wrong. I know, I'm very judgmental! :thumbsup2 I believe we can discuss, even here, our differences. And I don't think anyone was being particularly offensive. Can't...

How crucial is the midday break?

If you have kids - and you do, you will do MUCH better if you go back to your resort at noon and don't head back into the parks until dinner time. Also - all the more reason to stay on WDW property. Let the kids splash around in the pool and then get a nap after they tire themselves out. They...

DANG! Dad's a cheapscate! QUICK SERVICE ONLY? (Arguments FOR QSDP)

I guess I am a cheapskate too...but I see great value for us in QSDP. We enjoy the flexibility, and there are plenty of good choices if you know where to look. We will be going on a big family gathering in November, to the BWV...but I think we (three of us) are the only ones getting a DP...

    Quick service?

Yes, pretty much anything (beverages) that is in the fridge there in the Food Courts is considered a drink. For example, Monster drinks ar 4 bucks - and they were considered a drink. I'm pretty sure they had starbucks bottled coffee drinks as well, if my memory serves...:surfweb:

Where is the best coffee at WDW?

Nescafe just doesn't cut it for us (Nescafe...really????) :confused3 Anyway, if anyone has any other tips for us coffee snobs, :surfweb: I am all ears! Dan
