    connecting staterooms?

Not that I'm an expert, far from it, (my 1st cruise is rapidly approaching  but not rapidly enough :cheer2: ) but check out the stateroom locations link on the DCL main page. I booked through DU and got two connecting staterooms (Category 5, deck 7). On the deck plans, you can see...

    cruise lines to alaska

I cruised the inside passage (first cruise and I wanted to always be able to see land :rolleyes1 ) with HAL August of 2005. It was fantastic and I can't wait to go back. The ship (Oosterdam) was lovely, the stateroom was huge, I fell in love with looking at the whales while sipping my beverage...

    PT Cruiser

We rented a convertible PT Cruiser (12yr DN insisted and I immediately agreed) from National EA in February. We actually enjoyed the drive with the roof down (gotta' love Florida weather  ) and were surprised at the roominess for passengers and luggage. Unfortunately, when we picked up...

Rookie Cruiser doesn't want to miss the boat

What time should we leave OKW to make Wonder 10/27/06? We're taking a limo and I need to know what time to tell them to pick us up. Thanks.

    Beach Club concierge???

:rolleyes2 I just stayed at the BC Concierge in Feb '06. I previously stayed at AKL Concierge. Although the staff at both places were very nice, the facilities and food were not even close. The BCC was small, limited seating and food selection was very limited. We ended up eating in the...

    Candle Light Processional Package

If the shows are at 5:00, 6:45 and 8:15 and my family wants to sign on for the dinner package, do you eat first and then see the performance or vice versa? I'd love to see the 5:00, have dinner at the RC and then see Illuminations, but I don't want 5:00 if I have to eat at 3:30.

Lucky you, I can't wait to go back. We had PS for 6:00, but this was Super Bowl Sunday, so half the place was empty and there was no rush for tables. We were there about 1 hour before the fireworks. I'll bet that during a busy evening, there is more pressure to eat and move on.

Just back from The World. FWIW, here's where we ate and what we thought: * China - had great shrimp stir fry and hot tea. Heard bad things, but we were soooo c-c-c-o-old walking around Epcot that we sought shelter and we surprised by a very pleasant lunch. * Boma's...

    Just back from BCV

Gee, I can't believe so many of us were there at the same time! I think the idea of a food court would be great. Disney needs to address the problem and that would be a great solution. Think about it. SAB's food place (Hurricane Hannah's) was being extensively redone, with what looks to be a...

    Just back from BCV

We (8 of us) had a dedicated 2BR and a studio. Booked the 2BR at the 7 month window, waitlisted the studio. Ended up right across the hall on the 4th floor from each other. The 2BR (Room 467) had a terrific view of Illuminations, we could hear the music but couldn't see the Earth moving. All...

Gotta share our secret trip b4 I explode

We've surprised my niece 3 times! The first time (pre-9/11) we took her (5 yrs old) to the airport. While she was looking at the parked planes, we handed the ticket agent at the gate an envelope and told the unsuspecting half-asleep child to ask him for Nana's ticket. He was wonderful, he...

For those of you who have taken PICKY EATERS to WS, I need advice!!

In Epcot, you might try a side trip ( not very far at all) to the Cape May Buffet in the Beach Club. My niece is almost as bad as yours. She loved the buffet. There are fried shrimp, peel & eat shrimp, salad, veggies, beef tips, delicious breads, muffins, and desserts are bountiful. You...

    Just added on at HH!

If I may ask, what use year did you add-on at HHI? Do you know if there are any point left on June use year? BTW, congrats; you'll love your new "home".:p

    How much $/point at HHI?

I'm saving $$$ for an add-on; I'm wondering if HHI will be sold out before Sept/Oct for a June use year. If June at HHI is gone, should I wait list, add on at HHI with a different use year or go with BCV? Can I get a June use year at BCV? Gee, I'm having nightmares about having money to burn...

    Booking other than WDW Resorts

I own ah HH but have only stayed there once. I go to DW every year but not during the popular times, so I don't feel the need to own at WDW to get the 7 month window. I have used the points to stay at hotels in NYC and Calf. No problem any time. I agree that VB would probably not be your...

In dollars, or as a percent of your car rental budget, what is Emerald Isle worth?

When we went in March, we arrived late (10:30pm) got our luggage, walked out and my DN got to pick the car, whatever one she wanted. (She picked the green SUV; fortunately they don't have purple cars or guess what I would have been driving.) We all had a great time and my niece loves to tell...
