Hi, I'm having a bunko party on friday night and was hoping to serve some different Appetizers this time around. So post your favorite. Thanks,Gina:cutie:

Take a ritz cracker and spread a dab of cream cheese on it, place a deveined, peeled and cooked shrimp on the cracker then a small dollop of cocktail sauce.

These go really fast and are yummy.

ETA: large black olives (pitted of course) and can cheese spread. Fill each olive with the cheese. It might sound gross but it really is good.

Artichoke dip

Drain a small jar of artichoke hearts, and mix together with 1pkg. of cream cheese, salt, pepper, garlic powder and 1/4C Parmesan cheese.

Bake in a small casserole dish at 350 for 20 minutes or so. Time will depend on the size of the dish.

Serve with crackers or bagel chips. YUM!!!

Thanks these both sound yummy & very easy. I made the black olives ones and made them look like little pengins. They were quite the hit. Thanks for saving that old thread I also bookmarked it now.

Take a Crock Pot and put in a large can of chili, then take a can of hot tamalies, peel and put them in the crockpot and cut up a block of Velveta. Let it get hot and stir all together (the hot tamales should fall apart into small chunks.) Serve with Ritz Crackers. Oh my goodness this is soooo good!

Another easy and sweet one....

Buy those little individual size pie crusts and then in a bowl mix together 2 things of yogurt any flavor although I love the peach or cherry. 2 cans of Fruit Cocktail drained and one large cool whip. Than just scoop it out into the little individual shells and chil.

You can do the same as above but make easy (and sour) lemon pies. Take a can of lemon yogurt and a container of the condensed frozen lemonaide and then container of cool whip.

Mix one block of cr cheese and one can of no bean chili, microwave, stir, serve with Frito Scoops.
Soften one block of cr cheese and mix with one jar of marshmallow fluff. serve with fruit (pineapple and strawberries are the best).

put and 8 oz block of cream cheese on a plate-pour a jar of red hot pepper jelly over it-serve with ritz crackers

2 cans of canned chicken breast chunks
2 8oz packs of softened cream cheese
1 cup ranch dressing
1/4 cup of hot sauce (buffalo wing sauce)
1 1/2 cups finely shredded cheddar

Mix all ingredients together, saving 1/2 cup cheddar for topping. Spread into a casserole dish and microwave on high for 4 minutes or until hot and bubbly.

I like to serve it with the Tositos scoop tortilla chips, but it is really good on crackers too. If you like celery, it goes well with that too.

Cut Sharp cheddar cheese into blocks and stab with toothpick, add 1 chunk of pineapple on to the toothpick on top of the cheese. So yummy and easy. They go very quick at parties.

Mix one can of no bean chili and one jar of salsa con queso in a covered dish and heat for 3 minutes in the microwave. Serve with tortilla chips. Tastes very similiar to Chili's skillet queso appetizer.

Sausage balls, all you need it a pound of ground sausage, an 8oz bag of shredded cheese and a cup of bisquick. Mix it all together, form into small balls and bake for about 10 to 12 minutes.

Pigs in a blanket are easy too. Use a can of the Hungry Jack Butter flake biscuits (10 count) and 3 cans of vienna sausages. Roll out each biscuit a little with a rolling pin, cut in half and roll around one sausage, then back for about 15 minutes or until biscuit is golden brown.

In a small crock pot, add some smoked cocktail weenies and cover them in the BBQ sauce of your choice. I do prefer to boil my cocktail weenies first, just to get them hot.

Mini chicken salad sandwiches

dice up some tomatoes, peppers, onions, garlic, dash of olive oil and salt and pepper mix and spoon onto a pantini chip top with some shredded mozzarella cheese and bake on 375 10 min or untill cheese is melted...they are so addictive!!!

Joy's poppers
seed and devein jalepeno- stuff with cream cheese(I used a baggie and cut a hole in the corner)
wrap a piece of bacon around - half if they are small jalepenoes
Bake until the bacon is crispy- sometimes if I am getting anxious I'll broil them-but keep an eye on them.

Baked Brie

1 wheel of brie
1 sheet of puffed pastry dough(frozen kind- slightly defrosted and rolled out about an inch bigger around)
1 egg beaten
walnuts
butter
best raspberry jam you can afford.

toast the chopped walnuts in the butter- be careful they burn easily
place the brie in the center of the puffed pastry dough
top with the nuts
then the jam(about 1/3 cup)
twist the puffed pastry around the top to make a little package- brush with the egg and bake 350 for 20-30 minutes or until it is browned.
MMMMMM!! We love this one.

In a glass pie pan spread 8 oz of Cream Cheese. On top of that a can of chili beans drain a little of the juice first. Place some cut up (chunk size) Pepper Jack cheese on top. Bake 25 mins @ 350. I use a bag of the rest style tostito chips. Yummy.

I second the Buffalo Chicken Ranch dip. A woman at work made it last month and it was gone in about 5 minutes (a huge crckpot full..). EVERYONE wanted the recipie. I wish I had something coming up I could make it for. I'm so tempted to just make some for at home, but I'd eat it all lol.

I make this easy appetizer for almost all get togethers (mostly because everyone asks me to make it).

What you will need: ground beef, salsa (your favorite), Manwich sauce, shredded mexican (or cheddar) cheese, and torilla chips (or doritos or fritos).

brown ground beef, and then drain. Add salsa & manwich sauce and let simmer to heat through. place mixture in bowl, add shredded cheese and enjoy with chips.

(the amounts vary - depends on how many guests - but I usually use 1 lb. of ground beef, 1 16 oz jar of salsa and 1 16 oz can of manwich. That usually will serve about 15 people easily.)

i do the taco dip with cream cheese spread on the bottom, pour salsa over that, then sprinkle shredded mozzarella over the top...serve with tortilla chips....sup cheap, easy and goes fast.
i have to ask my mom, she has a friend who does these mini bruschettas that sound delicious and so simple...i'll get how she does it and post tomorrow

I make a cheese spread that is awesome. It sounds weird but very very good. Its kind of like a kicked up vegetable cream cheese.

1 block cream cheese
2 hard boiled eggs, chopped finely
red onion, about a 1/4 cup, finely chopped
red pepper, about a 1/4 cup, finely chopped
green pepper, about a 1/4 cup, finely chopped
salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika (all to taste)

Mix everything thoroughly and place in a serving dish. Refrigerate for a few hours and serve with crackers. Add some parsley on to for garnish.
