Are there any locations that serve Yuengling other than Crockett's Tavern in FW? It is my DH's favorite!

It's everywhere now. Yuengling bought out a regional brewery in Florida so they produce the lager down there. We've had it almost everywhere they have beer on tap (other than Big River Brewing, or course!). Your choices now seem to be Budweiser, Bud Lite and Yuengling lager. DH likes it so much better than Bud!!

Sorry - I don't have an answer for you - but I am curious about the responses. I also have a DH that loves it! popcorn::

I love Yuengling! Disney World is the first place I ever had it. It is served in many venues. Everytime I go to FL or out East I have to get my fix, you can't get it in MN.:drinking1

Yuengling Lager is my fave and was so glad to read in a book (while I was sitting at Borders) that they have it at Le Cellier!!! :D

It IS everywhere in Florida now--as it is here in PA. Around here you can't help but find it in every restaurant, bar, biker club, VFW Hall and Pizza carryout in the area.
And it is better than BUD--but then, what isn't?:)

My DH is going to be THRILLED! We dont have it here in Indy - but he has to travel east a lot for work and always is excited to get to a restaurant to get some! Now that it is in Disney - maybe I can talk him into more trips! ;)

Yuengling is a decently mediocre beer. Sad thing is, that immediately puts it at the front of the pack of the limited selection you'll find at WDW.

I really wish they'd serve more unique beers there, especially at Epcot. Such a missed opportunity...

Agree completely, I'd love to see a better selection of beers @ EPCOT. I do like Yuengling, and was glad to find it most everywhere that beer is available. Strangest place I saw it was China pavillion of EPCOT...guess the name sounds Chinese.

That explains it. I'd never heard of it then last year it was everywhere! Not bad from what I remember - not quite Sierra Nevada Pale Ale (my favourite US tipple) but quite drinkable :drinking1

There are a few in the different countries, but I agree the selection could be more extensive and exciting.
There's Carlsberg in Norway (Danish :confused3), Kronenbourg in France, Kirin in Japan, Spaten in Germany, Dos Equis in Mexico, even good old Boddingtons in England :lmao:

Thanks for the info! I have to admit to making a roadtrip to TN to bootleg a couple cases for him. Aww but what we do for love!

Just a friendly recommendation: If you like Sierra Nevada's Pale Ale, you would freaking adore Dogfish Head Brewery's 60 Minute IPA.

I'm a big fan of Sierra's offerings. It's one of the better breweries overall in the states, but the 60 Minute IPA is the best pale ale I've ever had. Sierra Nevada's "Torpedo" Ale is the only thing that I've had that comes close.

It's out of Delaware and not the largest brewery, so you'd pretty much only find from New York to DC, but if you ever come across it, it's well worth whatever price they want for it.

Agreed on all counts. Sheesh, can't WDW even have the decency to serve some Sam Adams Boston Lager at the very least?

You can usually find the Sam's seasonal at DHS and in Epcot (and other Sam's offerings at the Hops & Barley Market during F&W).

I had Yuenglig yesterday at the Banana Cabana at the CBR and last Tuesday at Crocket's Tavern at Fort Wilderness. It's become one of the most popular beers in Florida.

Lager is my favorite here in Pa, you just say Lager and they know that it's a Yuengling and this is the oldest brewery in the USA in Pottsville. Think I'll go to the fridge and grab one now. I got to get a beer mister its so great on tap. I'll be at Le Cellier in a month and check it out. :cool1::hippie:

I believe the Kirin sold at Epcot (and throughout N. America) is actually brewed by Molson -- it's not the same Kirin you get in Japan. Not sure about the others, but they're all easily and readily available to me in NY. I don't particularly mind any of them, but they're nothing special, either.

There's a lot of really, really good beer in the world. And none of it is in the World.

Yuengling AND Sam Adams are pretty mediocre beers and nothing special, really. I suppose they are moderately better than Bud Light, but if it's something I can find at every gas station and supermarket-- cheap-- in Georgia, then I'm not overly impressed. ;)
