Your Park Plan Tips/Suggestions Please

How do you plan your park day. Do you know which rides/attractions to see first at each park or do you just wander around and to whatever? It's our first trip, me, DH & DD (5) . I'm planning on following the Passporter somewhat as to which rides to visit first but I was going to wing it as well. I do have each day earmarked for a specific park.
Just wondering what most people do and if winging it is an ok thing to do.

I think everyone is different. We go at peak times (school vacation weeks) so we know the exact order of the rides that we are going on and which fast passes we are getting and which order we are getting those too. Some people like to wing it, and that is fine especially if you go often or if you go at a slow time of year. My guess is that it won't be crowded when you go and you will be fine winging it some.

Depends on what time of year I go. When I went in March, I planned each day until noonish, because of the crowds. When I'm going in October is slower, so no planning.
