I know this is regional, but we don't throw baby showers for second time mothers.
She is on her own!
LOL Everyone I know has had a shower for their second.

My evil twin says return everything, then show her the return receipt and tell her you saved her the trouble.

I would just get her wipes.
These days I just take the path of least resistance. I really do not care to put 1 second of energy into "making a stand" anymore for stupidity or crazy.
I take a stand if something is genuine and necessary.
But since you've already got her a gift, I would not bother to take it back. Give it to her with the receipt.
Since I have to go to Babies R Us to return what I got her I am going to get her something different. I'm leaning toward something really odd, under $20, and with no gift receipt. I've decided that the gift I got her was too expensive.
Take a picture of the gifts you bought, wrap the picture in a box beautifully but after you enclose a note that you've donated the gifts in her name to the local crisis pregnancy center to someone who would appreciate them.
In my area we have showers for all babies, not just your first. I spent 42 on the stuff I bought her so it would be cheaper to return it and get her diapers, but I just don't care for the attitude. I'm tempted to search for a weird sculpture or something, but I have a sick twisted sense of humor. Maybe a stork figurine or something.

I found a baby butt fan. Winning!
