Your opinion on this ladies watch

I would wear it - I think it's very nice looking.. However, I just turned 60 - but truth be told, that is the type of watch I have always worn.. LOL..

If you think she'll like it, I'd say go for it - or does she prefer things that are a little more feminine looking?

Looks very elegant.
I personally am a Tag Huer fan...love their watches. Tiger has one and the ladies love him :rotfl2:

It's a nice watch. But.... that price. I would never have let my dh buy me or himself a watch that cost that much. I would rather have a vacation. BTW, aren't gifts of timepieces bad luck? I know they are in Chinese culture. JMO

It's pretty, but I dont think it is very 'young' or modern. I'd like something more modern, and I"m much older than she. But, you know her style best - I bet she'll :lovestruc it!

My wife's a bit over 30 years old asian. SHe has a young look This I found to be funny as it made me think I wonder how my dh describes me??

I like the watch but I don't wear watches.

I'm 30 and personally I wouldn't wear it but I am more froo froo. I like something a little more dainty. BUT, that doesn't mean your wife won't love it! What a good hubby you are!:goodvibes

It's got a manly look to it. I wouldn't like it, but only you know your wife's style.

Totally not my style. But I'm not a watch person, and my taste in jewelry is more funky, not elegant at all.

I'd also have real problems with the cost. I too would rather have a vacation. But that's our family. If jewelry is something important to her and something she values, then it's not crazy. It's just not a priority for us.

Ditto. I'd be afraid to even wear it.

I love the watch, but not the "mother of pearl" face for a 30 year old. Mother of Pearl is something my grandma always wanted in her watches. That's just my preference though. Overall, it's a classic looking watch with some modern updates that should last her forever.:thumbsup2

Since you asked. . . .If it were my watch I'd prefer that it be all stainless/silvery without the gold.

She should like it, I see the ladies connie often and think it looks nice. The bracelet plays well with the light. I hope you took my advice in your prior thread.

Ladies seem to like quartz watches better then an automatic.

It's a nice watch, but not something I would choose for myself. (I'm 25 BTW.)

I agree with that as well. You know your wife better then anyone, and none of us have any idea what your financial situation is, but it is a lot of money for a watch IMO.

I sure hope that's not true---I have never heard that. My DH had bought me 3 watches over the years!

OP: It is a very attractive watch, but if your wife is a young looking Asian woman, I am picturing a smaller, more delicate watch. Does she dress pretty feminine, or is she more of a casual person? For me, I like a small, delicate watch. I've worn one with a few diamonds, or just a tiny face with no numbers---almost as pretty as a bracelet. Again, it's a very nice watch, but if your wife is a petite, feminine type, I would try something a little smaller and feminine. If she's more of a t-shirts and jeans type of girl, this is great. I didn't word that well...sorry, it's late. Also---if you do spend this much---might want to have a little chain attached in case it falls off--- my watches tend to unlatch when I hold shopping bads and such. I've lost a couple, sadly. It's very nice of you to buy a watch for your wife :thumbsup2

i don't think it has a very 'young' or 'modern' look. and at that price, i would want to make SURE its something she'll be using for years to come. :confused3

I like it, it's a classic watch. I wouldn't worry about it looking too big on her, chunky watches are "in" now. And it's an Omega, enough said!
