I know that this has probably been done before but I thought it may be fun for everyone to post their most magical memory from their first trip to WDW.

Mine was in July 2002 for my honeymoon, I love Disney and since I had never been, my most fav. memory is seeing/driving under the Walt Disney World Sign when you enter Disney property.

Oops, I misread your question. First trip. I guess seeing the castle lit up at night.

it does not have to be first trip, I could change it to most magical memory of all your trips.

My first trip was my honeymoon. Hubby and I had both been married before (really young) and still had our old wedding bands. We took them with us and threw them into the fountain at Norway in Epcot (don't know why we chose that one) and made a wish that our marriage will work out better than our previous ones. Almost 11 years later we're still just as happy. Even more! I guess our wish came true. Ah the magic of Disney! :goodvibes Even though we have been many more times since then and have made new memories with our children, that will always be my favorite.

Riding Dumbo with DD (then 7) on a comfortable evening while Wishes was going on. The lights... the music... the atmosphere.... I could have ridden forever

Seeing Spectromagic is always a magical memory for me (hence my username), but there was one time in particular, I was on my senior trip in highschool (me, my sis, and a couple freinds went), and we were lined up on Main Street watching the floats go by. Pluto was walking alongside one of the floats and he came up to me and kissed my hand. I know it sounds cheesy cuz they do that to everyone, but for that one little moment, Pluto made me feel so special, and I've never forgotten it!

Our was our first trip to Disney. We had one of the first PS for CRT. We were walking down Main Street with only 2 other people. It was wonderful !! :wizard:

Do you have any idea how hard it is to come up with just one memory as the most magical?! There are literally thousands of memories to choose from so one is extremely hard but I will try. How about going to WDW with 13 members of my family including the fact that it was my kids first trip? Remembering their faces as they were soaking it all in is priceless. But one thing that I will never forget about that trip happened at MGM during Fantasmic. Please understand that I love music even though I know I can't sing worth a flip I still love music. Well, at the beginning of Fantasmic, there were 4 guys that came out one at a time and they started singing a couple of 50's and 60's music. I was in Heaven. My niece and nephew thought I had lost my mind as I was really getting into the music and actually I forgot that there was several thousand of other people around me. I waited for 5 years to be able to see the show again, just for the singing. Well, when I finally got back they had cancelled the singing. Still love the show but honestly, I was very disappointed.

last month when i got proposed to infront of Cinderella's Castle during pictures! lol. it was just like something out of a movie. he asked "will you let me take care of you forever? will you marry me?" and i cried and people clapped and yelled and pointed, it was so sweet!

Aw, that's so sweet! Congratulations!

This was DL, but that works, too, right? Well, and it wasn't my first trip, either, but hey, it's my fave memory.

I was about 12 or 13, riding IASW with my little cousin, about 2yo. Watching him in awe of all the dancing, singing dolls, his face was aglow. At one point I was looking the other way and he grabbed my head and turned my face the other way yelling "Look!" It was just so cute, I still remember it and can't wait until my own 2yo gets to ride IASW in 2 weeks! It's such the perfect age for that ride.

I remember he also loved the fireworks. Watching him sitting in his stroller, looking at the fireworks and saying "boom, boom, boom". Again, it was just so special to see it through the eyes of a toddler.

I want to say my dh's first trip is my most magical memory. We did alot in that week and it was so fun to see him look at everything for the first time.

My DS first trip in 1994...Seeing Mickey Mouse! ::MickeyMo
Also in 2000 our first time eating in the castle for breakfast. princess:

On my DS's 5th BD he was pulled out into the middle of Main St. USA by a CM and had the entire crowd waiting for the parade to start sing "Happy Birthday" to him. I almost cried.

Well at first my most magical moment was when my DH asked me to "take the Plunge w/ him" as we dropped on Splash Mnt. But know that we have a DD my most magical moment was when she first saw her most favorite person in the whole world...JESSIE!!! Nothing is more magical then seeing the look in your little ones eyes as the hug their favorite character.

Stay tuned though as my new magical moment will most definately be when she meets the man of her dreams in 14 days...PETER PAN

These posts are so wonderful I could cry. But mine is, this past May we (me, hubby, and son(8)) went with my mom, dad, and nephew (also 8) and we sat beside of the Walt and Mickey statue watching Wishes and my son was sitting in front of me with his golden Mickey ears on and my hubby and rest of my family all around me and I was just sitting there looking at them thinking that I absolutly HAD to be the luckiest person on the face of the earth. I will never forget that moment for the rest of my life.

Oh, Congradulations! My sister got proposed to inside the castle while at dinner at CRT, I wasnt there, but met them afterwards when they surprised me and told me (I had no idea my brother-in-law was going to propose to my sister)...I cried so much! He had ordered dessert for her inside CRT and the waiter brought out a glass slipper w/ a rose inside and inside the rose was the ring. Inscribed on the glass slipper read "will you marry me". She was distracted at first cuz Peter Pan and Captn. Hook were having a sword fight outside (I always laugh at that story, I think thats so funny), but when he finally got her attention, he got down on 1 knee. The staff at CRT really made them feel so special and they made it a night that they will never forget. They got married this past May 21st. And naturally, they followed thru w/the whole Cinderella theme AND honeymooned there!

There are a couple for me.

Anytime we walk under the Main Street Station and seeing the Castle for the first time and then turning to my wifes face and seeing the tears start to form. Just being with my family anywhere on property.

Wife and I were on our 10 year anniversary trip this past December. We spent the day at the park and then went back to the room. Woke up a little early for you know what. Just being in the most magical place on earth with the best woman on earth, well it happened. After 5 years of trying, she was going to be pregnant again, although we didnt find out until Jan 05, I will always remember that day.

Nebsky - Congrats to you and your wife.

My most magical moment was seeing my kids faces as we turned down Main Street to face the Castle. My DS (then 8) and my DD (then 5 - on her father's shoulders) had the most amazing look on their little faces. My DH and I both welled up (as we always do when we see the Castle). It was the first time my DD was quiet the whole trip - she was left speechless. My next moment after that had to be when Goofy came up behind my DS as I was taking a picture of him and Max. My DS loves, loves, loves Goofy. He screamed with excitement and started to cry with joy. He hugged Goofy and would not let go. It was perfect.
